after chiellini and barzagli, we got shit and bonucci

And nobody who can replace them in the near future. That is very bad

Peasants ask for attacking midfielders whilst we have

Coman, Pereyra, Berardi, Marchisio

And central midfielders like

Vidal, Pirlo, Pogba, Asamoah

its these peasants who called juventus not good enough last CL. And what was the issue ? Defensive blunders. Barzagli injured.

Yes peasants, its the cold facts. Now shut up and agree we need a centreback
Get with the programme Zakk. We're talking about which of our defenders should make way for new ones.
caceres as mediocre of a CB as he is, is more reliable and cost less
How does the cost matter? :boh: We already paid for them. It's what we can get for them now that's important. Since Caceres played for Barca, and his Uruguay has done well at two World Cups, I guess he could get about 18 to 20 mill.

Anyway, I wouldn't miss Ogbonna or any of them

amortization.

my position is unless you are a hot prospect and or actively contribute to the team, if you cost more than 10 mil you shouldnt be in our bench

Tell me, Skrtel, Matheiu, Dante or Boateng, Jones or Alex who was starter for P$G is better than Ogbonna?
He is a decent defender, but finally, limited. That's all. Same with defenders like Vermaelen, Koscielny etc. who cost more than 10m and are overhyped.

The fact is, nowdays thare aren't that good defenders, with old years. I can remember 10 world class CB, the last ten years. Now, nobody is on the same level. Ogbonna is good option for bench and he deserves another chance to prove himself. He isn't a ''talent'' to wait for his potential but he isn't that bad.
You all, talk about him like he is Portanova or Biava.

he played like $#@! for us, and i think this is another isla in the making. you know what is ironic? :p our bench total transfer fee is higher than our starting eleven's
Which is why i don't get why some people thinks we should just splash the cash every time we are rumoured to be monitoring some of the more profilic players out there... It's not like we have had to spend 30 million + in order to net a great player, even though it could be necessary in some cases. It has a risk though, so if we plan to spend 20 million or more on a player, we better be sure he won't be a complete disaster.

I really don't know how to take these Falcao rumours.. It kind of pisses me off, since i would be happy with Nastasic and a decent player for up front if an opportunity to get someone like Lavezzi for a spot price doesn't arise. And i don't want to get my hopes up, but man a guy who could make the difference, either at the position between mid and front, or a centerforward (since we really have Llorente only) would be great. But what a luxury problem it would be up front to have to choose between Llorente and Falcao. They might even play together, but that will only happen when Tevez is rested/injured or if he will be deployed behind them sometimes.. In that aspect, i can see Marotta statement about wanting a competent centerforward to back up Llorente, but not a big star since really we need someone who will be fine with not playing every game. Also i struggle to see the financial part of the Falcao transfer. He is partly owned by Dogen, right? They could put more pressure on Monaco if they want to move him in order to raise his value, which Juve would be a great opportunity for, but then there is wages... Would love to see Falcao, but on the other hand, i would really be sad to see Llorente leave or having to warm the bench to much, so i hope we will see him a lot regardless. It won't happen most likely anyway, so why am i even bothering

Ogbonna is a dumb shit that has no future in italy.

Players you mentionned arent worldbeaters, but at least had some brain. That makes a huge difference. Ogbonna couldnt even understand conte's tactical guidelines

I don't know, and i hate myself for it, because i know the chance is 1/100 at max. But i start to imagine our style of play with those guys, how they would fit into our squad etc.
At least we already have a great centerforward, so a competent rotational player would be just fine. I mean, a guy a la Osvaldo last year, who could come on the cheap and who have fine qualities (i know he never really managed to do good here, but i think he is a fine player, he showed it both in Espanyol, Roma and on the NT, but of course not world class by any means) would be fine as a back up, instead of overpaying for a player that might or might not challenge Llorente, but could turn out to be just another bench player who does ok, but not more than that (i fear a guy like Jovetic would end like that, mostly due to injuries and periods with limited playing time around that).

Someone is believing the falcao bullcrap ?
Honestly, i don't think so... Just because people take positions around the hypothesis of him coming here, doesn't mean they think there is any significant probability of it happening. If we should just discuss what we are certain will happen, then let's only talk about last season..

stop.believing.falcao bull$#@!
No one is. Jesus, just because you see his name, doesn't mean people are claiming it's on...

Also, Pereyra, Coman, Marchisio,

Tevez in a 4231

Who says we dont have attacking mids :rof:
Those 3 are as good at being attacking midfielders as Ogbonna is at being a defender. Do we have L/R/AMs for a 4-2-3-1? Yes
Do we have a lot of defenders? Also yes but they are all terrible. That'll be the worst three players to be ever fielded in a 4231 midfield in any top team.

We dont look like we are going to play that formation anyway. We need a reliable CB more given that we probably wont even play 4231

This comment is just gold. Same goes for saying Skrtel has more brain than Ogbonna. It would be funny see see your hate on the guy if he actually came here.

Pereyra, Coman and Marchisio are all good players but two of them are central midfielders and one is an 18 years old player with only two first team games under his belt.

Anyways the hate on Ogbonna is premature and started to gain momentum after his terrible showing against Austria AllStars which is so Tuz-like.

The last games of last season we played with Caceres and Ogbonna in defense and still managed to keep clean sheet most of the time.

CBs are definitely not our biggest problem and even if they were non of Manolas/Nastasic/Luisao would guarantee improvement. Another issue is if Allegri is capable of properly setting up a defence utilizing the potential we already have.
