You can teach players to get back, to defend properly. You can't coach pace and skill. So yeah, we shouldn't be looking at attack minded wingers and dismissing them because they don't look like they can run as much as fucking lichtsteiner.

You can order players to track back (although the success of this will then largely be influenced by the players stamina), but defending is as much a skill as anything, and "coaching pace and skill" is as easy or hard as teaching how to defend.
