Marotta: “Last summer we improved with Carlos Tevez, Fernando Llorente and AngeloOgbonna. We’ll improve even more next season, albeit keeping in mind Financial Fair Play, so there will be no crazy spending.”

What defines crazy spending?

We all know Juventus cannot spend 50 million +, so what does he mean? Does he class 10,20,30 crazy spending?

Personally I think this Juventus should be able to afford atleast 30 million off it's own back, with the rest made up off sales.

Crazy spending equates to the summer where we spent 80m i.e in 2011.
He's basically saying we'll have a budget similar to last summer where we made most of our purchases off player sales.
That is how i interpret it.

I guess we'll know our intentions after Conte meets with the board.

I have hope Conte will ask for some economic effort from the club, and he'll use his leverage of his success to help his cause. It's admirable what Marotta and co have done but we just need that little extra now.

Marotta's most recent's moves have impressed me, Pirlo renewing, Pogba being tied down and it looks we'll do the same with Conte soon. We couldn't ask for a better start. Nani looks like he could kick start the Summer too, exciting times.

However you'll probably see my suicidal posts in August :D

Count pre Atalanta: ". From the economic point of view is difficult to buy players 25-30 million, but we find it hard to spend even 15 for a player "

I'm not surprised.

Like I said too many times, last time we spent big was for Diego/Melo/Amauri. After that we had lower transfers fees and our policy is not likely to change. We signed Barzagli, Pirlo, Pogba, Vidal, Tevez and Llorente for peanuts. They all became our key players and we're not gonna change our policy until we do some good in Europe.

Unless we sell (Pogba) we're not gonna spend big on one player for sure IMO. And that is why we'll aim at Lulic, Pereyra, Nani, Menez, Ranocchia/Paletta, Cerci (possibly) and eventually some rough talented kid out of nowhere.

In fact, if we sign a 25mln player without selling Pogba I'm gonna be very surprised.

Well said and since we are not looking to sell pogba i think we can now close the sanchez thread ....:p
To change formation to 4-3-3 we need quality wingers and this summer we wont have the funds so the above mentioned players look realistic for 3-5-2 .

We'll be able to play 4-3-3 easily if we sign those players I mentioned.

Nani, Menez, Cerci can all player on wings. Hell, even Lulic can play there as well (just like he did at Lazio).

We're gonna rotate formations IMO.

Oh ok i assumed we wont sign all of them , i think nani is the only one who cant play in a 3-5-2 , all others can . Cerci would cost atleast 20m considering thats what immobile is being priced at .

If we sign two of those (plus Lulic) we'll be able to play 4-3-3 easily IMO. So even Nani + Menez/Lulic would give us possibility to alternate formations. I count on Giovinco as well.

But who the f knows, we'll see.
