Hummels would be our star signing, and he's a defender. So kiss goodbye to a decent Winger if this happens.

Also, we'd need to buy half of Immobile first.
I`m not sure we`d have to buy his other half first but its basically the same as we would pay them extra cash if we give them only half of the player

Immobile is $#@! and I never impressed watching him play. If we can get 10 mil for his half we definitely should sell. This season might be the one his value inflated the most in his entire career.
I wouldnt say he is shit but he is definitely not a super forward...
He is a good goalscorer who knows who only knows one thing -> scoring!
put him in a big club who want forwards to do more than just score and he will look average!

Thats why I said if there is a chance exchanging him with Hummels we should do it! It would set our defence for years!
Of course our main priority should be improving our attacking play should it be buying a forward (to the 3-5-2 formation) or buying great wingers for a change of system
My main concern is the term of great is being interpreted differently by our management than my meaning of great!

I do think we need better forwards but I still want Llorente to remain here as he provides us something our other forwards dont - headers and back to goal style of play which sometimes is needed

Is there any substance at all to these reports for Hummels? My guess would be no.
Of course not..this rumour is hilarious there is no chance that Dortmund would agree to sell him, as he is arguably their most important player.

..and then to sell him to get Immobile :lol2: thats like saying Juve want Schmelzer and offering Vidal in exchange.

You are aware, that Lewandowski is going on a Bosman, cos Dortmund were reluctant to sell? So how can u use that example to show that Dortmund sell?

Götze had a buyout clause, so Dortmund couldnt do anything. The last player with such a clause is Reus, but only from summer 2015 on. Dortmund is no selling club, but go on dreaming about getting Hummels, Reus & Co.

I guess u have no clue, that Serie A is not very popular in Germany so to think a player like Hummels or Reus, where all powerhouses seem to be interested, would decide to go to Italy. :lol2:

Dortmund no selling club? Sahin,Kagawa,Gotze ,Lewa. The point is they CAN'T keep their best players.Juve is a powerhouse.World class players are leaving for Ligue 1 and Russian PL why not for Serie A ? Serie A is even now better than Bayernliga.

Dortmund is no selling club...
lol? i´ve heard that several times from dortmund fans but imo that´s complete bullshit... you are a selling club when you keep on losing your best players. doesn´t matter if you want to sell them for shitloads of money (like porto) or if you actually are willing to keep them but they tell you to fuck off and
- leave either for free or
- for a vastly reduced fee because they are on the last year of their contract or
- if they only agree to sign a new contract if there is a release clause in it which another club already agreed to pay ;).

apart from that i agree that it´s hard to see why player like reus or hummels would target a juve move...

Serie A unfortunately can only lure out of favour players from the big money leagues. Unless you get lucky with buying a few youngsters who turn out to be big, to then later be sold for big money. Hate hearing the old "well he's getting older now so Serie A, with it's slower paced game will suit him" I've heard that very too often now. So why would Reus come? Hummels? Etc.......

Quit dreaming if you think we'll get these players when competition for their signature is fierce. We'll carry on sniffing on scraps.

If Dortmund want Immobile to replace Lewandowski it's probably because they believe in Immobile to be a decent heir to continue score a huge amount of goals. We need to wake up here - Ciro is joint serie A top scorer, italian, and a product of our own.

I would cry seeing Immobile take BvB to glory when he could have been with us!!

IMO Ciro is the most potent CF in the country bar Balotelli. Prandelli can't ignore the top scorer of the league and even if he picks up an injury tomorrow he will be up in the top when the season is over. Rossi is injury, Balo is a nutter - Ciro can score and is neither..
