I have a feeling Beppe would pull a 2001 Moggi style and sell Pogba for 60-70m and strengthen our team. With that kinda money, we would be able to sign Di Maria and Griezmann/Lamela and bring in some of our loanees (Immoblie and Berrardi).

PSG and Madrid will try to sign Pogba in the summer no doubt. Bidding war :xfinger:

dimaria is a first team madrid player with incredible stats. even if pogba was sold for 70m, madrid wont demand anything less than 45m for him. and that is assuming they want to sell him considering he's found a new place as a key cm for them

there goes half the money. then what you have left if a lousy 25m to invest in another winger, but you are still 2 midfielders short considering you sold your first team starter and you needed a back up anyway

For his career it would really be the best if he stayed in familiar environment for a few more years at least. He's got everything here, coach's confidence, understanding with other players, starting spot in one of the most prestigious clubs in the world, probably a good contract very soon. In terms of his development he'd be making a step backwards if he were to leave now.

Agreed, he will get the most development here.

First, I doubt a want-away Di Maria would cost anything above 30m, less for one of Lamela and Griezmann. Then you have the other players that we could sell to raise mercato money... Vucinic, Quagliarella, Giovinco, Isla ...etc

We must make use of our loanees... The likes of Leali, Berrardi, Immobile (co-owned), Zaza, Marrone and Boakye could be used either by coming back to fill our squad or used to bring in more money.

The Pogba sale would do wonders to us. I'm convinced. He's a very young magnificent player no doubt, but Zidane was too.

My expectations for next season :

Formation : 352.
Signings : non starters, with high priority for those that are versatile in several roles

- we wont sell pogba
- we could sell vucinic and quag

possible signings :

Cerci, Immobile, Ranocchia, Pereyra, Lulic, Menez, Nani(lower chance)..

Berardi will be loaned out again

Zaza and gabbiadini could be used as leverage in deals, or remain co-owned and at their club
That's exactly what is going to happen.

Guys like Paletta, Cerci, Pereyra, Lulic will be signed. No LB or a natural LWB. We'll sell Immobile, Quags, Vucinic, and maybe other youngsters to finance these purchases. Maybe other youngsters will be co-owned like Baselli and they will continue to play for other clubs.

And a guy like Gilardino or stg like that will be bought to backup Llorente.

The starting team will be exactly the same. But the squad should definitely improve.

Let's see if Conte will be more inclined to rotate and change the formation every now and them. We struggle mightly against teams who play wide formations with quick wingers, who press up the field and man mark Pirlo. It's an almost 100pc sure approach to fuck us. I expect him to counter this specially in Europe.

Carlo has found place for Di Maria, he's been playing CM role next to Modric and Xabi. I don't think he wants to leave, while Real aren't really desperate to sell, and that might determine the price as well. I can't see a truly WC player like that leaving for 30m.

Yes we sold Zidane, but in his prime, after we've won plenty of titles and don't forget that we were in a dire need of rebuilding. Pogba is far from being a finished product and we might risk potential higher earnings with his sale now, and he's highly marketable. Very soon you'll see plenty of kids wearing his jersey and I'd prefer those to be black and white. I'd rather wait.

Why keep deluding yourself ?

We cannot get those shiny players with our current finances.

and if we'd sell pogba, we still wont re-invest over 25mil on a single player

Unless we get world class players in the swap, wich is hard, selling pogba is alllways a bad idea

So lets stop considering it plz

@Gian buddy where are you at? Tell us something about this Vilhena guy, plays for Feynoord. Is he any good? I noticed we're being linked with him, another Raiola's youngster it seems.

In 2015 new sponsorhip, TV and Nike contracts will kick off. We'll have one more season in CL to make Juve a respected team in Europe and to gain supporters all over the world, developing our merchandising potential.

So I believe that this year we'll just improve the squad a bit, without any large investment.

In 2015, if the team fails in Europe again, then I can see a bigger investment like 50M + maybe the sell of Pogba, what would grant around 120M for signings.

Ricardo Rodriguez Wolfsburg left back with 5G7A in Bundesliga, 2G1A in cup (2 yrs left in contract + Licht's Swiss teammate:tuttosport:). much much better than the pathetic Coentrao people keep putting in their wishlists.

downside is that Wolfsburg is just one point away from CL spot, would be much easier to tempt him away if Wolfsburg don't make CL.

For this summer, a realistic mercato is:

- Osvaldo out
- Selling Quags (3M) + Vucinic (5M) + 1/2 Immobile (10M) + Fausto Rossi (2M) = 20M
- Gabbiadini, Berardi, Marrone will continue to develop at minor clubs;
- Exchange 1/2 Isla for 1/2 Pereyra;
- Exchange Padoin + Peluso for 1/2 Baselli + 1/2 Zappacosta who will continue to develop at other clubs;
- Some kid like 1/2 Boakye or 1/2 Zaza + 4M for 1/2 Biabiany;
- Some kid like 1/2 Boakye or 1/2 Zaza + 7M for Paletta;
- 13M for Lulic;
- 5M for Gilardino.

Total revenue: +20M
Total spent: -29M (-9M)

First team: the same
Bench: Storari - Paletta, Ogbonna, Caceres - Biabiany, Marchisio, Pereyra, Lulic - Giovinco, Gilardino.

Wtf? there is no way we will be able to trade our half for other teams halves. Also Gilardino and Biabiany? Seriously?

We're not that poor. Let's not exaggerate now. :p
Biabiany shouldn't be seen anywhere near this clubs, useless hack, more suitable for counter attacking teams. He should therefore continue plying his trade at mid table Serie A clubs.

Well this is not what I want to happen; it's what I think will happen.

I unfortunately believe Conte has a hard on for Italians like Paletta and Gilardino, or for non stop running - huge stamina - polivalent players like Biabiany.

I do believe he really wants these guys.
