Fuck Cerci?

I forgot we had Robben and Ronaldo on our wings. Yeah, nevermind. Cerci is clearly shit.

So we buy Paletta, we should keep 6 CBs and still have 0 Wingers in our squad? Now THAT is extremely retarded

Are you contradicting yourself?
No, because they may take Ogbonna + cash

But there's no way in hell they'll give up their prized asset just for their old CB

Then we don't deal with them. Simple.

I never said we should get Paletta  In fact, I'm very happy with the selection of CBs we currently possess. However, considering we deploy a 3-5-2 formation (which doesn't require wingers and uses 3 CBs btw), and will continue to do so for the foreseeable future, then a 6'th CB won't be an unwise investment. The same applies to adding one more CM, since Conte refuses to use Asamoah in that position.

As for wingers, Menez and Nani would be far better than your beloved Cerci. One is free, and the other (based on how much you are valuing Cerci at) will probably come cheaper or around the same price. Nani, unlike Cerci, is worth the investment however, considering his experience and the fact that when in form, he is a class.

I hope i have made myself clear.

If we don't get Paletta I wouldn't consider getting rid of Ogbonna, this is if we theoretically did get him. We'd be an attacker light (Giovinco) and a defender extra.

As for Nani, I prefer him to Cerci when he's fully fit and in form. But his fitness is questionable at best and he's been off his game for 2 years now

Menez, a decent versatile back up player. Nothing more. He's just not that good.

Neither is Cerci. We are talking about guys who are coming to fill in for a secondary formation that we may be deploying. We aren't going to change our formation or our starting players to accommodate Cerci ffs!

If Juve sell Immobile the management will prove they don't know what they do. Sell Immobile for cheap and then chase another Rossi/Aguero/Cavani to find out later that Immobile was the next big thing.

He's in a really good moment of his career. It would be retarded to give away his half, especially for a bench player like Cerci.

I'm not discounting him just yet but I think it's worthwhile remembering that an attacker may flourish in one environment with a lot of space to move around (e.g. Torino) and be stunted in another where the space is tight and opponents park it (e.g. Juventus).

It's a pretty common issue when moving from a mid table club to a top club. Giovinco springs to mind and you could probably find a host of other examples.

Selling Immobile would be beyond retarded! Quaglierra will most likely leave, so will Vucinic too. Who left? Tevez, Llorente and Giovinco. Is that enough? Not to mention, we have an easy access to a 24 year old italian that just score 18 goals and 2 assist in 24 games, let me repeat myself. Immobile has score 18 goals and 2 assist in 24 games!!

Marotta will prove himself incompetent in footballing matters if he lets Immobile go, and Conte will prove that he has no clear idea on where he's headed.

What are they gonna do when Llorente or Tevez get injured mid-season? Splash money on another 3rd rate striker during the winter? We are setting ourselves up to having another panic winter mercato, with a Matri coming in with unrealistic expectations.

Berardi should stay there for another season, if they go to B, loan him to Udinese ( or Milan  ) or something. One season isn't enough, give him a second season in A.

Immobile however, should not be considered, but brought here asap.

it's absolutley ridicouls that juve would consider tampering with the defense before fixing the wingback/winger and midfield situation.

yeah ogbonna hasn't looked convincing, but he has barely played and it is his first season. give him another chance.

What's even more retarded is that we are seriously linked to two more defenders.

So, as we are about to reach the final part of the season and some safe conclusions are already made:
What we have so far?
-Peluso, Padoin, Osvaldo and Isla are not Juve material and must be removed!
-We still have a hole in the defense, we need a starter dedicated LB, to complement Asamoah and an experienced dedicated CB to step in the days we are missing one of Barza andChie, as Caceres, Bonucci and Ogbonna are not solid enough defensive wise. Ogbonna was a mistake, as it was predicted, he can offer defensive solidarity now and in a few years we already had Sorensen and Masi anyways...
-If we manage to sell Padoin, we could bring Maronne back. This is the moment to think hard and good, what we will do with MArchisio.
-I think we will keep Giovinco for depth, as he can help as AMF, LMF and SS and helps us with the players in the, Llorente and Tevez are new acquisitions, so our priority should be to make some decent money out of Quaqs and Vucinic's sales.
Marotta's main witness, apart from overpaying, is that he cant make profit from acquisitions.
This summer, that was our third objective, after acquiring new attack and a decent CB, yet this season selling for profit, is our main objective.
This will help us raise the sum we need to buy top players and reach the next level.
If MArotta fails yet again to make a decent profit, he ought to quit!

man i cna't wait until summer. i believe the first signing or two marotta will make wil give us a clear idea what conte is planning for next season.

if it is a cb, expect more 3-5-2. if it is a winger or two, expect a change in formation

My expectations for next season :

Formation : 352.
Signings : non starters, with high priority for those that are versatile in several roles

- we wont sell pogba
- we could sell vucinic and quag

possible signings :

Cerci, Immobile, Ranocchia, Pereyra, Lulic, Menez, Nani(lower chance)..

Berardi will be loaned out again

Zaza and gabbiadini could be used as leverage in deals, or remain co-owned and at their club

Would be a solid mercato considering we missed out on CL K.O money.
