What I think will happen, regardless of our real needs, is:
- Conte keeping 352;
- exchange 1/2 Immobile + 2/3M for Cerci;
- Vucinic + Quags leaving for +- 8M total, but Peluso + Padoin will remain;
- Giovinco will be offered to Parma in exchange for Paletta or Biabiany, but he will refuse to go - will stay till his contract ends in 2015;
- Youngsters like Berardi, Gabbiadini, Rugani will remain at their current clubs for further development;
- We'll pay around 8/10M for Paletta and around 12/14M for Osvaldo (it will be Conte's priority)
- We'll get around 3/4M for selling Motta + Fausto Rossi but De Ceglie will return;
- Isla will remain for around 6M to be paid to Udinese;
- Despite our needs for additional depth in the mid and LM there won't be enough money to do it;
- Pogba won't be sold and will renew with a buyout clause of 60-70M.
- our 3 youth products in CL will remain Marchisio, De Ceglie and Giovinco;
In the end, the starting team will be exactly the same next year, in the 352, and having spent around 25M, the bench will be (433):
Storari / Caceres, Paletta, Ogbonna, Peluso / Padoin (DM), Marchisio (LCM), Isla (RCM) / Giovinco (LW), Cerci (RW), Osvaldo
Personally I'm not a fan of this outcome - I'd rather have investment in younger international players with bigger upside. But I can definitely see Marotta trying to keep Conte happy, going for his preferential 26+ established Italians to add depth. No changes in the starting team or scheme or any big signings.
Good free players like Menez or Fernando will demand a lot of money in wages - I don't see them coming and honestly it's not worthy to bring them if they are going to be so overpayed.
