Getting Griezmann is not realistic even with sales of the deadwood for another reason and that is Juventus' lack of liquid cash.Surely they're not gonna accept our billion installments deal even if we managed to somehow arrange the money needed for this transaction.

Recently Madrid brought Illaramendi from Sociedad for 38m(30m + VAT) and that was in two installments.We cant possibly do that without selling our prized assets.

why would an italian team pay taxes to spain?

Idk,it may be viewed as an assumption.Bayern for example paid taxes when they brought Martinez along with the release clause fee.So i would assume it would apply to all other countries too.

according to wiki, input VAT which is the case here "is recovered by setting it against the output VAT for which the business is required to account to the government", maybe it's kinda like sales tax that is recovered by tourists before they leave a foreign country.

Plenty of question marks there. I understand that taxes are calculated into invoice. Basically everything you buy has price which consists of purchase value+taxes, but enterprises have right to get those taxes back for the goods they payed, while the ones receiving the funds have obligation to make those kind of payments. Whenever there's a transfer of funds from one side to another, the side receiving the sum, as I've said, needs to make necessary payments. Something you can't go around. So in this case they would put taxes on top of that price, still can't see how they can manipulate it like that, and we'd pay 18% more, but then again those 18% we'd reclaim from Spanish government.

All those speculations make little sense now becasue all can change in the summer. Especially in the World Cup year. Who would have thought that we will bring Tevez for so low price as soon as in the middle of the previous season?

I also don't understand people who think we have almost zero chash to spend. If I remember correctly, every summer we are willing to spend big on one player (20-30). I agree that we usually don't spend those amounts but I think it's only because some other club is willing to over-pay or we find cheaper alternative.

I believe the player, technically, is the one who triggers the buy-out clause and gets himself out of the contract with his current club.

Obviously the new club is funding the whole thing, though.

So while the foreign club is funding the deal, they aren't actually involved in the deal according to Spanish law.

thats one way to do it, but in that case according to article the amount will then have to account for the 44% tax so it would be a lot more than the release clause

this is not entirely true. you have to remember that Juve usually pay in installments and the biggest investment was in the beginning of 11/12 season. Players were bought and the clubs were being paid in 3 installments. last summer was the last installment of a lot of players: Matri, Licht, Vucinic, Quagliarella, Vidal, Pepe, Giaccherini et al. all these installments don't have to be paid next summer means there will be cash available, add some sales of un-needed players and sell some co-owns and we don't have to sell anyone important. Juve are financially capable imo.

We own half of Rugani, he came up through our academy and Empoli currently own the other half of him. He's probably our best young centerback that we own.

Yeah, there's no way we have a chance to sign him IMO.

What happened to Beltrame at Bari? He was getting good playing time (I watched some of his games at the start of the season and he was quiet a threat for them) but then he just disappeared from their line up!
