Verratti is nowhere close to Pirlo yet Cusp, c'mon now.
He's been a beast for PSG lol..One of their most important players. That should say much.

And yes,he is ofcourse on his level if not better already plus he's not a liability defensively like Pirlo is.

that is a lie, verratti is prone to picking up booking because he's so poor defensively

To be fair Verratti is half right, PSG will probably have a better chance of winning the CL before we do, all down to money sure but thats the reality of modern football
God I hope they get dismantled by FFP. I'm sick and tired of oil money distorting player values and toying with the sport I love.

He has been beast? PSG have Motta, Matuidi, Rabiot, Cabaye and Veratti. Motta, and Matuidi are starters so for the last position its between the last 3. Verratti basically has lost his place. Verratti has always been overrated as shit. He may have the passing range of Pirlo but no where near the same vision nor talent. Verratti is a player who is always being yellow carded for challenges and I feel like he is more of a liability then Pirlo. I hope he never comes.

exactly. Dont know where the cusp got his shit from but he isn't even considered a starter any more, and once again backed my point that he is prone to booking thanks to his lack of defensive abilities

Wait till PSG chokes when played against top teams in the CL, then just then will people realize how fragile and overrated that team is.
like how remarkably well we did in the group stages this year against below average teams in the CL...

people are going to bitch now like when giovinco made a comment on the Milan ultras or whatever that was...and they are going to love doing it.

people LOVE to hate around here.

Wait till PSG's project gets to a point where they buy a midfielder to put verratti on the bench, then we'll see how he feels about it then.

Id rather play for a manager like Conte than a utter plank in blanc, that's not me being biased at all
so what dude....the guy is surround by world class players there too and they are only going to get better. if I was young like him and world class potential then I'd want to stay and prove myself even if competition comes.

I bet you were one of the few that wanted blanc here when he was linked here.

stop being so butthurt because not all players are die hard like you are. its ridiculous.

I wouldn't call Real Madrid and Galatasray below average just like I didn't see us ever as one of the favorites for the title this season. Nor should anyone.

all the more reason for people to stop bitching about veratti. we aren't a club that can match them yet but psg is so why is this such a shit storm with what he said...

Erm, no I wouldn't be. I wouldn't be at all. Then again you don't know me at all, so your wild assumptions are just that. Maybe refrain from calling people hypocrites until they gave you the tiniest sliver of evidence that they are?

Verratti is the player with the fifth most starts at PSG this season, and makes the third most tackles and has the most passes per game. He was basically man of the match against Leverkusen just a week ago, and undesputably a key player for them.

The only valid criticism is his habit to pick up a lot of yellow cards, but I doubt that this is enough to justify not wanting him here.
