I'm just guessing here, as I haven't read the whole article, that he's referring to the fact that he'd be stuck on the bench behind Pirlo (or the glorious Marchisio), whereas he's usually starting now. And not referring to Juve as being a step back from PSG as clubs go.

no. he said something like PSG having the best project in the world and he doesent want to leave because Juve is a step backwards in his career...

fuck him. that means Pogba stays with us

If Coentrao is available for below 15m,we would be crazy not to consider it.Thats a perfect market opportunity right there.
that would be a must buy. a player of his quality at such a price at a critical position cant be let go away somewhere else...

There's no doubt PSG have a better project than us though.Money talks in the end.He probably got paid nicely to take that extra dig at us as well.

Wait till PSG chokes when played against top teams in the CL, then just then will people realize how fragile and overrated that team is.

We'd finally have a proper LB after so many years.. Actually from Zambrotta period.

But I still think we'd put Asamoah on the left side if it comes to 4-3-3 (which I highly doubt). :boh: I really can't see us buying him lol.
Coentrao would be great to have. Can easily play both LB and LWB which would be a huge plus for Conte.

Why should that matter ? They have the money and they can buy any amount of world class players at will whereas we have limitations in this aspect.

To be fair Verratti is half right, PSG will probably have a better chance of winning the CL before we do, all down to money sure but thats the reality of modern football

So? You can still like Juventus but want to stay at a club with a better project.

Money does help, yes.
Wait till PSG's project gets to a point where they buy a midfielder to put verratti on the bench, then we'll see how he feels about it then.

Id rather play for a manager like Conte than a utter plank in blanc, that's not me being biased at all

It matters because having the money doesn't equate having the success as well. And that's what Verratti was claiming there.
