I'm aganist bringing Berardi back. Why would we bring him back if we don't clearly know whether Conte really wants the change of formations? In my opinion, even though I would much rather see a game play involving wingers, I don't see how Conte could possibly drop any of our current players besides Bonucci. Also Asa has excelled in the lwb position this season and while I don't know how he'd as a lb, I think he would be replaced with a true lb, if we did indeed get one. Another thing is Conte is a fan of a 2 man attack and Tevez and Llorente have been in very good form so I don't see how you would drop either one.
If we did transition to a 4-3-3, you'd have to answer these questions:
-Would conte drop Asa or play him at lb?
-Would conte drop tevez or play him as a winger?
-What player could we purchase in the summer mercato that could possibly upgrade our current 11? (That would fit our budget)
-Would Conte really drop Bonucci even after he hasn't dropped him after all of the fuck ups?
-Why would we change a winning formation?

No really it is, if we are taking what was said as a general argument. Dusan only spoke of talent, and the smaller club being an argument against.
Cuadrado would play here as a RWB. Where do you suppose Cerci would play? It seems pretty clear we would only sign him if we were willing to use the 4-3-3 at times next season, I don't see where he would be expected to play in a 3-5-2, so it's not an issue like Giovinco. Giovinco's problem is that he keeps insisting he is a striker when he isn't, he is the one who wants to play up front.
Cuadrado would play here as a RWB. Where do you suppose Cerci would play? It's probably better that we just focus on what each player could bring to our team. Personally I don't have a problem with either, although I think speaking about realistically signing Cuadrado is pretty close to a waste of time.

What I'm saying is that whether he plays there or as an attacker he isn't restricted by our tactics. I'd assume we would alternate a 4-3-3 with either of these players.

Some members like B81 and Cusp don't understand we have financial parameters and we can't just go sign a world class player and drop 30M+ (which won't even get you a world class player nowadays). We look for special opportunities and bargains. We've been operating this way for years now, and its been paying off well.
We should keep doing what we're doing and start relying on youth as well.

Cerci is on 800K wages a season. Remember we wanted to sign Aguero? Everyone thought he'd cost 30-40M, everyone was like oh Marotta just drop the money! Just do it, don't penny pinch! Aguero is making 10M pounds a season now. Do you think we can afford that?
So say we overpay for Cerci by a couple million. Say we pay 18M for Cerci, and double his wages for 4 years.
18M + 6.4M in wages. Thats 24.4M investment.
Now take a 30M and add his wages.
Do you see?
