We don't always have to depend on big money cash to sign players. With good scouting and the ability to close deals better, we can surely strike bargains like Pogba, Vidal and Llorente.

I remember we were close to signing players like Draxler, Kondogbia, Veratti and Piazon for extremely low price because we had good network in place, but for different reasons we couldn't close them.

Rummaging through Italian press this morning there's a lot of speculation as usual, and unsurprisingly they've picked up Conte's words and have been putting them in a context of last week's quarrel with Garcia.

But here's what they speculate; next season Agnelli will set clear objective and that is good CL performance, passing through group stages as a minimum of what we should be capable of achieving. Mgt will try to give him right players for that. After 3 years of winning in Italy we need to raise the bar and aim for a little more. Current team has reached its limit, and Conte has done extremely good job in that respect. I wouldn't say that we as a fans have become spoiled over the last 3 years, Juve is a winning team, our illustrious history speaks for itself, so rightfully we have some expectations. Another premature CL exit could raise a lot of questions. They all agree that Juve is 2-3 champions short of becoming real European contender, so it is up to our mgt to provide this summer. It's absolute necessity that one big name arrives. Players like Sanchez, Cuadrado, Nani, players that could make a difference for us in Europe.

Yea, I can see where's that coming from. However I have no idea how can you put Sanchez and Nani in the same sentence. Alexis would be one of the best signings over the past 10 years while Nani is a huge gamble.

It will be very hard to motivate players for the next season when it comes to Serie A. Actually if we focus harder on the CL I'm not gonna be surprised at all if we end up 2nd or even 3rd next season.

Earlier we were linked with Jan Obiak , the Benfica keeper as a understudy to Buffon. I think he had a good game yesterday especially under rainy situation he didn't look like slipping. Storari haven't extend his contract which is due this summer, would be great if we can move for him if the price is cheap.

Nani isn't world class but he is surely the type of player we need.

I wonder if that could be a blessing in disguise as far as our European ambitions are concerned.
Still it wont be a great feeling to end trophyless in the season though.

Meh Napoli are nowhere near ready to challenge for Serie A

I highly doubt Roma can get within 10 points of this seasons tally whilst competing in the CL either.

We probably won't get as many points as this season, I very much doubt it. But we might end up winning with a similar margain

winning titles early and by large margains isnt always good. you have less competitive games and you are not in the right shape like you were when you had to play for something. you can easily lose the touch and it can have effect on your CL campaign. but on the other side, you have one competition less to worry about and can go fully on the other, so i dont know what is better. i would still prefer a race till the end like we had in 2012 with Milan rather than securing scudetto in April. and besides, winning it in the last 1-2 fixtures and leaving a big rival behind makes your scudetto somehow more likeable than when you win by 10+ points and it is clear since January who the new champion will be...

Just remember the times during Del Neri, Ciro, Ranieri and Zaccheroni and it will get better instantly. :D
Tbf thats not my actual problem.
If Roma or Napoli win the scudetto, they wud gloat abt it for ages and crap on Juve all they wish.Seeing one of these two annoying clubs win the scudetto wud be intolerable :sergio:

I'd easier handle that than seeing Milan or Inter win it tbh. But yeah I know what you mean.

If we're changing the system in the summer then this mercato is gonna be vital. Because, man, if we fuck up... that's gonna be horrible.

We need some serious injection of pace and flair in our team asap. Also some creativity in the midfield. Sanchez+Fabregas for Bonucci + 25 mil @Mark :donedeal:
