hes the leader of our curva after all . but seriously, a team like Juventus, which is known for its defense, doesent sell a starting CB to fund another transfer. if we are to get Sanchez, we will get the money elsewhere (Vucinic & Quag) but not at the cost of losing any of our key players...

I think ideally you want a guy who can play many MF positions. One of the issues with Pirlo, especially now given his age is he is only effective as a regista. If you buy a versatile guy (examples: Modric, Pjanic, Nasri [Surprisingly, yes - look it up], Oscar, Thiago Alcatara), those guys can play every central midfielder position and in Nasri's case, he can play on the wing.

I think that is the type of players Juve should buy especially given the formation experimentation that Conte likes to employ. There is no doubt he wants to use a 4-3-3, and he has spoken of a 3-3-4 before as well. To be able to experiment in that fashion, you need VERY versatile players.

Just to illustrate examples - this an illustration - and would never happen...

We should bring back Immobile and focus on Sanchez. While the trio Vucinic - Quag - Osvaldo will probably leave we'd replace them with Immobile - Sanchez which would be a HUGE upgrade. Both can play in 352 and 433 so it really makes sense. In salaries it'd be even cheaper than keeping the trio mentioned above.

If Marotta does this he gets 10/10 from me. Add to that a versatile CM like Giaccherini and it'd be perfect. If that kid from Udinese fits the bill get 50% of him and I'll give Marotta 11/10 for the mercato.

This would mean adding some quality subs and being able to actually rotate before European games.
Plus I can see BonBon being passed by Ogbonna if Conte uses a back four, so I'd consider selling him as well. Which won't happen btw; Conte likes his defender-toys.
