Cuadrado may really make sense as a signing. He will be a bit pricey, but if you look at this guy, aside from his clear versatility to play either flank, and any where from a fullback to a forward, he looks like he may be one of those guys who starts to really become elite, almost like Bale. If you look at his positional statistics, they look like this:

As a left forward, where it looks like he should play, his production is as follows:

11 games, 6 goals, 4 assists vs. 31 games, 9 goals, and 6 assists.

His rating is 8.1 vs. 7.65.

His guy needs to play on a team where he can be a fixture on the left wing and develop his game instead of being thrown about.

Cuadrado cannot come for the right price and i have a hard time believing that we could go behind fiorentina's back

exactly..u had me re-reading the article thinking i read wrong..he's certainly a very useful player on the roster

while he could play the position, he's not exclusively a winger like cuadrado...very decent in centre mid, attacking centre mid as well...

quick on the balll with no loss in technical ability...likes to move around a lot on and off the ball...so would be very useful in adding more dynamism and speed to our general play
In other words typical south american skill set , flair with technical ability but less defensive , i think isla will be sold then.

Nasri said in an interview that we wanted him before he left Arsenal (Inter too), but he didn't want to leave the country so he picked City (eventhough United also wanted him).
If we were willing to purchase Nasri and then later were willing to stump up for RVP, maybe we have some secret funds laying around somewhere. :xfinger:

Any figures being thrown around for Pereyras signing?

He seems like a little bit better, younger Giaccherini, which is exactly what we've been lacking a bit this season.

I think a lot of those went to finance wages of Tevez and Llorente. :D
True, but if neither Nasir nor Van Persie would have played for pennies either, so we can assume that we had those wages calculated for back then as well :D

The only number I've seen regarding him was 8mln (1-2 months ago) and they didn't say it was a co-ownership. So that number doesn't make much sense.

I think they can get 12mln easily for him.

I think we won't return Berardi.

Higher chance to see Gabbiadini back here.

But those you mentioned are all very different players. None of those would fit normally in a 3-5-2, they'd all lose their best aspects of the game. If we get Pereyra he'd play as a MC, I highly doubt we'd ever put him on the side. Nani should play in a more offensive role while Cerci 'shines' in even more offensive role, or as a SS.

Cerci?

Yay, let's spend 18-20mln for another average player.
Who's got double figures in both goals and assists so far.

He's not a world beater by any means, but the way he's referred to in this forum more often than not is just ridiculous.

My main argument against Cerci is that Torino will hardly let go of both him and Immbole at once, and Ciro is higher on my priority list than Cerci.

Same here i would prefer immobile he looks to be a finished product and if klopp is after him then that says it all .Rather than paying 18-20mln for cerci we should pay few more and get sanchez if he can be had for under 25m. Sanchez , immobile ,tevez , llorente and gio is a quality attack.
How much would immobile cost us ?

When Pirlo's age starts to show, would you guys like to replace his creativity with another deep lying playmaker or more of an offensive one? Wonder how much Pjanic would cost :tuttosport:

he will go to PSG (which means for over 30M) if he leaves Rome. but imagine this: Pjanic goes to PSG and he has a terrible season. then we get him for a reduced price and he becomes one of the best AMs in the world :tuttosport:

I think we've passed that point. And I wouldn't want DLPs anymore, once Pirlo leaves.

What i'm saying is that IF conte wanted to go wingers, and actually would change the starting formation, that that selection of players is a possibility financially.

I think he'll stick to 352 , but it was just an idea for those who adore wingers.
