I never said Sanchez was a possibility... he is the Aguero/dzeko/van persie/Jovetic of this year.... Barcelona aren't going to sell him for less than they bought him for... and that was close to 40M if you add all the bonus

Its amazing how people get hyped up for something following the exact same path as the Aguero saga :agree:

Aguero was never possible for many reasons; no CL participation, relatively small income at that time, huge price tag...Sanchez's situation is different and ours as well, circumstances have changed over the last few years, but we'll see.

Exactly,it's completely different to Aguero's saga.

Aguero never played here in Serie A,we couldn't offer high wages,we were just 1 year after starting the comeback to the top level, none of his NT played with us,new league, new language.
And we had no deal with him, there were talks and just one fucking smile.

As for Sanchez now,we are a much better club now than 2 years ago, higher targets and objectives,he's familiar with the league, with the language, has Vidal and Isla here,he's not on Huge wages,AND we're seems like in a good relations with his agent.
Moreover if to believe the reports he gave his OK to join us.

Ofcourse nothing guaranteed and Barca may ask too much,or another rich club ala City will come with an offer.
But IMO we have a good chance here with him and should do our best.
IMO it's possible for around 25M,maybe even some 1 year loan +obligation next summer or something.

Are they good enough for Juve? :boh:

Some of it would come down to the player pushing for a move, even though I think we are looking at a figure closer to 25m. Rumor has it that we are also after Villa and/or Mandzukic. I don't see us buy 2 20 plus players in the same summer, unless Pogba or Marchisio are sacrificed.

Sanchez, Villa, Lulc and Astori maybe quite a stellar mercato though.

Teams like barça and rm dont sell to get profit, they sell thr players they dont count on anymore to get cash for other signings, for example Ibrahimovic went to Barça on 2009 for 70m€ and 1 year 40 games 21 goals later was sold to Milan for 30m€ (6m loan, 24m transfer)
Now barca needs to get 2gk 2cb 1cm and 1cf and they will put on the maarket masche song cesc and sanchez cuz they dont count on them anymore or are too expensive to be on bench

We need an injection of pace if we want to go far in the Champions League. You either dominate and control games or you sit back and hit on the break. Considering we sit back for long periods of time, we need to be able to counter attack.

As it stands we have no direction, no clue.
