I love Didier and all, but no thank you. I don't want an imported legend here, specially after we've kicked our own. It's a matter of principle. Don't care what wages he's on, we kicked out Ale that was willing to sign a blank piece of paper.

Man Utd + Japan, he's definitely going to be high. I would have expected Messi to have more, but he probably has fakes. Japanese don't buy many fakes.
They're all about the collectables :p

Get out of here... Are people really considering Drogba for 4M just because they don't want Osvaldo? What fucked up kind of logic is that? How about neither?

Invest that money where it's needed. Wingers, a LB, a CM, etc...

People want change, they say the team needs a complete revamp and they consider a 36-yo Drogba. Really, i don't understand this place sometimes.

Marotta has said there won't be any "big" transfer until the 2015/16 season, so all I'm saying is, why not take on Drogba for one year (and send Osvaldo back to Soton)? It's a 4 million euros expense, for a pretty damn good striker, even at 36. I consider him backup material, and someone who can be quite useful in the CL.

You would rather have Osvaldo as a third striker?
Honestly, I would rather eat sushi off of Anna Nicole Smith's dead body after it was dragged on the autobahn from Turin to Bremen while truckers made successive shiit and piss stops on her carcass every 50 kilometers than have OSVALDO on this team.

I don't think we gave Anelka enough of a chance. Let's get him back.
He's younger than Drogba!

How about they just pay the piper and bring Immobile back as rotation between Llorente and himself.

I love Drogba but not at 4 million for one season.

Keep Vucinic and Giovinco, and you have a 5 man strike force of Tevez, Llorente, Immobile, Vucinic and Giovinco.

You could get a lot worse than that, to be honest with you.

That's not the mentality the team needs. Drogba can't win us a CL. We need to stop throwing money away on past-prime/below average players. I never understood why we choose to do that instead of giving our youngsters a chance.

*retard voice " oh, it's because they're not ready for the first team, they're not ready for such a big club like Juventus*

...Yet we play fucking Osvaldo. Talk about somebody not worthy of this team.

That'd be decent, also slipping in the likes of Pereyra and Nani would give us width option too.

100% with you on that. If we sell Immobile! Oh God :sergio: I will loose faith in this management.

I really really never understood this mentality. Neymar's career came to a stand still point at Santos and the Brazilian League, he needed a challenge, a step up, to prove himself. I guess that's the same with youngsters all over and it's always been like that.

What else do we want from Immobile? What else does he have to show us to prove that he deserves a chance? almost 20 goals for a mid table team isn't enough when we so need fresh blood in the team? Lewandowski was 22/23 years old when he really turned into a beast at Dortmund.

"Oh but he might flop" Of course he might, that's the point of trying them out. We'll never know if he can manage that step up if we don't try him.

It's probably because of that Italian mentality that babies their offsprings for too long.

But they won't. Barring something catastrophic, Tevez and Llorente are the first choice pairing. Put Immobile as the third striker (he will get plenty of opportunities with cup competitions), and Vucinic and Giovinco as the 4th and 5th choices. Bringing back Immobile would probably cost as much as a negotiated outright purchase of Osvaldo, and even if it were to cost more, he's 4 years younger and brings more to the table as well.

The problem isn't the strikers. Not this year anyway, certainly compared to the past 2 seasons. It's getting the ball to them to put them into position to score that is the issue.
