As for Bundesliga players, I was watching Borussia-Eintracht game in saturday and despite the fact that Eintracht lost 4:0 and Trapp conceded 4 goals I must say that he looks like very solid goalkeeper. He didn't make single mistake and saved his team in quite a few situations. He was helpless in every goal Borussia put in the net. Kempf checked in on the field as well but his performance was a total failure and he was humiliated by Lewandowski couple of times. On the other hand, it was his second game in Bundesliga so he will have a lot of opportunities to prove his talent.

He is the best player of Hoffenheim and has matured over the last years. He is a tricky and pacy AM and definitely worth having an eye on and his contract situation makes him very interesting.
Hope we put an eye on him, 16G13A those are crazy numbers and he is only 22 :tuttosport:

It's not gonna happen this summer.

We're still paying a lot of installments for old signings like Bonucci, Pepe, Vucinic, Quagliarella and others. I think the next summer is the last we pay most of them.

Also Pogba and Vidal will get very substantial increases, and also Marchisio, Barzagli, Chiellini and Litch will have their contract extended probably having some raise.

Also the 352 is improving in overall, despite the horrible CL performances. 2 or 3 group games were fucked by individual mistakes, and the last match against Gala was such a fucking bad luck. In normal conditions we'd won that day. The team actually played deserved the victory that day.

So I definitely see some squad trimming this summer. Important players only in excepetional situations like with Tevez and Llorente.

For the summer of 2015, I believe we may sign some more important/expensive players, since cornerstones like Buffon, Pirlo and Barzagli are getting old. It will be a must.

For 2014 I definitely don't expect big signings, also considering the fact that we will miss a lot of money from CL.
Even without the CL money i think it's possible to make few moves.
It makes sense that we'll shift to 4 man defence against the strongest sides in Europe.
Conte already did it this season vs Real, and played 4-3-3 when it was possible with Pepe.
So i think Conte wants at least 1 winger, and will get him, even if not Di Maria or some other our dream, but Nani/Cerci/Menez(free) is very much possible.
Beppe can get Nani for Tevez type of a deal(10+5 bonuses M or something),Cerci is easier if we use Gio and/or Immobile.

So Nani/Cerci,Berardi,Gabbiadini,Cheap or free(Murru) LB,back CF/LW is not an expensive mercato at all.
Plus we'll sell Mirko,Quag, maybe Isla and Gio too.
If all we do is add a couple of youngsters to our Squad I fail to see how we'll improve in the slightest

That cheap, ineffective mercato would be ridiculous for a club with our ambitions.
Agree.
And i'm sure Conte won't let that happen.
at least 1 good winger will be signed+Berardi.
at least 1 back CF will be signed OR Osvaldo + Gabbiadini.

IMO.
In a few years when Buffon, Barzagli, Pirlo and Tevez are done we'll have to pay up front to replace with quality players. Almost all the other top clubs in Serie A are building a squad for the future and hoping for the best this season and the one to come. Juve are by far the best team in the league but a lot of our starting 11 players are past 30 and that should be a warning sign for us. I think Buffon is the most significant example as I far from consider him one of the world best goalkeepers anymore. Not saying he isn't great anymore, i'm just saying he has been a lot better and is an example of a key player past his prime. This applies for Barzagli and Pirlo as well. If we add youngsters like Berardi we'd lower the average age of the team, and stay on top when the young talents break through in the other big clubs. Not to mention the importance of pure pace in Champions League. Perhaps a fast attacker would open defenses like Pato raped Barcelona with pace in CL for Bilan.
Actually it's Buffon,Barza and Pirlo.
Licht and Tevez just celebrated 30 this month.
Buffon and Barzagli has at least 2 more years of TOP football.
Pirlo signing 2 year extension.
Licht can play another 4,same for Tevez.even If Tevez will maybe leave in another 2 years.

I didn't say that. :)
you seem to have him in every fantasy team you post, i somewhat doubt we'll sign di maria yet even if we were to swap giovinco and cash for cerci it would be a shit deal compared to menez for free and if we had to raise cash then selling giovinco would still be an option. Any ways i'd take sanchez Mino for a few mill and we will have a vidal/pogba -esq signing

januzaj was to become a free agent in this summer then we would have a pogba/vidal type of signing but he has signed a new contract and I cannot see any other very talented player that is going to be at a good price as most of them are under contracts or overpriced. anyways menez would be great as a free and cerci could also be a good signing as a direct swap with giovinco. a definite improvement from giovinco.

The funny thing people are always asking for names, It's hard to predict who will become champions in 2 years time. I mean before Conte was here, who said we most buy Vidal, get Pirlo for free, and get Pogba soon to have one of the best midfields in the world. It's hard to predict things, Im sure Marotta, Paratici and Conte know what they are doing.

For example maby we buy that Firmano guy and he becomes one of the worlds best attacking midfielders. Im not saying that will happen, but who knows. But yeah I agree we should look for more players on the flanks, especially with speed as we need it in the team. But we don't need to buy the best ones in the world at the moment, we could look at players like Firmano who has been great in a smaller team (like Vidal) or maby we could be lucky with a young player like Berardi, time will tell.

I mean even teams like Real Madrid operates in this way, Di Maria was expensive yes but they got him from Benfica, Marcelo from a brazilian team, Higuain from River Plate, Ozil from Werder Bremen, Khedira from Stuttgart. Im not saying this transfers was easy because you always most battle with others teams. But I believe our succes over the last years has made us more attractive for players, even if we still have a way to go. Let's look at players in Argentina,Brazil for talents, like Badass mentioned with that Sanchez guy. Perfect transfer, young talented, lots of potensial, it's never a guarante but we most take som risks also. Better then invest in Padoins, Pelusos...

of course you can't, for one you're not a scout, secondly you have no contact with player agents and clubs. I think few here saw the Tevez deal coming but it was a deal that was months in the making

Why would Torino swap their best player against Giovinco? ok if we offered alot of money between. We should focus on finding talents before they go to a big club. The market in South America for example, they have so many talents there, especially offensive ones. Let's gamble more, Milan got Thiago Silva, Pato, Kaka from there. For small money compared to what they did for the club, Pato was a flop but the rest did amazing things. At the time they had Leonardo ofcourse who hade great insight in the brazilian football.

that's quite true. if we can find our own sanchezes, dimaria falcaos cavani etc... we could really challenge. we'll see what approach marotta will have with regards to that.

Let Beppe,Paratici and Conte run this,i trust them.
We can continue throwing names, which is fun,but we can't predict anything.
