Well Guardado was totally great as a LWB for his former team Atlas and I remember him being great for the NT too in that position.


I don't know how much of an improvement he'd be over Asamoah but yeah, he could do well here. But he's made of glass.

I dont even think that Zuniga or Kolarov would be much of an improvment over Asamoah. That dude has a very good pre-season so far and beside his slump after the Africa Cup he was a very important player for us. Show him some love, he deserves it!

Cant cross, doesnt have the movement of a winger, isnt strong on 1-on-1's. All things I want to see in my LWB. Sometimes we just have no width on that left side.

Asamoah is too good for a role that doesnt suit him. Bench Marchisio and play his as a LCM for al I care. He's too good ffs

i think he is a hell of a player on the left side! most of all, he is better as every player we are linked in that position. kolarov lacks speed, which is maybe the most important aspect in the system we play, and zuniga is a worse asamoah, not really an upgrade.
