Just thinking out loud here (I am sure this won't happen in this transfer market)....but...

Tevez and Vucinic are the 2 strikers we have that I think should stay. Llorente too obviously but I must admit being concerned with how he will do (my gut tells me he could easily flop). Matri, Quags and Giovinco I think don't really cut it. Why not sell all 3 and bring in a truly world class EU30-40m proven striker to partner Tevez? Matri is being linked with a 12m move, Quags a 10m move. Giovinco has got to be worth similar. We are talking 30-35m right there. If that is the case, who would that striker be? Aguero? Suarez? who else?

we are selling to balance the books after what we spent on transfers and the hike in salaries. I doubt we will have a surplus in cash that is better to spend this late in the transfer market than next summer or Jan on our own time.
Plus, Aguero is City's main striker... Suarez is subject to a bidding war and so is Rooney. Luckily the english teams seem to not sell to each other.
