they cant afford their wages, which is basically napoli's dilemma, it doesnt matter that they have 70 mil to splash when they cant give the recruits more than 4 mil a year
Even with them trimming down the squad by selling the likes of Cavani, Lavezzi, Gargano amd so on over the last two seasons? Here was me thinking ADL would be pumping more money into the Partenopei.

to make the leap you kinda need a new source of steady revenue, this money helps but unlike our side if say 1 or 2 of these marquee signings fails miserable and they get stuck with their wages, that will set them back significantly. Theres a reason preferred to keep him, theres really no way of adequately replacing cavani imo.

torres might be free in the summer but he would not be a good cavani replacement. he has lost his flair. napoli better off buying someone like jackson martinez (26 goals in 27 app) from porto for around 28 million. he would be perfect. alternatively, they could get cardozo from benfica for just 15 million. both would guarantee goals.

That's actually a pretty good idea.

@ Alex, who am I, Marotta? I guess Kolarov but who knows. Both Juve and inter contend these guys.
