Pogba in place of Marchisio at the AM position.
altho i dont really like the idea of playing jojo outwide.he's a proper #10 in my eyes and thats whr we can get the most out of him.
also i'd never play pirlo in 2 man mf esp in big games.

With our budget I don't think that we could get all of the players that could make the 4-2-3-1 work. We would need a CAM, a LB and a proper RW at least, alongside with Jovetic.
We would need a couple new players, i'll give you that. But we can work something out with what we have TBH. We could try to play Asamoah as a LB, or even Peluso would work fine in a 4-men defense. In the 11-12 season Vucinic could fit the RW role, for some reason he's gotten slower and lazier this season. There's Giovinco as backup or even Pepe. So yeah, basically a decent RW + CAM and we would be good to go. Given that we will sell a couple of players, we should have enough money to find decent players for those roles.

I've always wanted to try Pirlo as a CAM using that formation, i can see him dictating the midfield and doing what he does best, trying those sweet passes to both wingers. Having Llorente as a poacher could make this work. We would need a RW who's decent at crosses though.

I think that if Jojo plays wide he will have more creative freedom, like Reus to put an example. But if we want to play 4-2-3-1 we need more than just him. I think that something like this could happen

Jovetic 13M+Quagliarella
Di María 15M (if that bs is true)
Coentrao 18M

And, for the AM spot I can't think of any player, Hernanes is somehow out of range. And there are not many AM in the market. We should give De Bruyne a shot, I think that Chelsea got him for 8M, and they're not going to use him anytime soon IMO. We could maybe get him. And I rate him highly and we were linked with him before Chelsea got him. Maybe 10M? That would be sweet.

That's a mercato of 56M+Quag. So, yeah. Not very likely.

Peluso could work, he has improved a lot with us. But again, he's not an offensive LB. I'm kind of insistent with this thing cause most of the teams that we aspire to look like have an offensive RB/LB and a deffensive one. We're perfect with the deffensive on Lichtsteiner, but on the left side we don't have anyone, if Asamoah is not very good going forward as a LWB, now imagine him on the LB.

I wouldn't be ok with Vucinic on the RW cause there we would need one with a high workrate to balance the freedom of Jovetic on the left. He would be ok as a Jovetic backup. Pepe nor Giovinco have that WC tag that we search atm, both would be ok as backups, but not good enough to get that starting spot.

What I mean to tell is that we would need a whole lot more of additions to our team if we want to change to a 4-2-3-1, that team would be ok for a year I think. But don't expect any different results from what we've got this season, expect even worst.

We had the players to play this formation this year too, but we didn't.

And Pirlo as trequartista? What kind of sorcery is this?

Yep, I guess.

I just feel PSG are a club who's going to buy new forwards every summer. If they do this summer, there's a possibility one or even two of those 3 will be shipped out.

Interesting.

If Conte is going for 4-3-3, I'd take Lavezzi. If he's really considering 4-2-3-1, I'd go for Pastore or Menez.
It of course depends of the price, Lavezzi or Pastore would be ok and would fill the necesity for one of the three players that we would need to implement the 4-2-3-1. I really liked Pastore since before the WC2010, that's why I would choose him really.

right, let's do the same against catania and other midtable serie a teams, would you agree? I know no one of us will agree :disagree:
Whatever it takes to win the game.

Juve did step back away to Bologna when Bologna made a fast start and were pressing hard.

Juve let them tire themselves out and picked them off.

I've said on various occasions through the season that I thought Juve could do with having less possession in certain games.

Think back to the game Juve lost to Roma:

Juve had heaps of possession, but they weren't creating chances. All Juve's possession was resulting in was counter-attacking opportunies for Roma.

I'd have pulled Juve back and let Roma have some of the ball. That may or may not have increased the chances of Juve scoring, but it would at least have allowed Juve to defend in an organised manner instead of continually trying to deal with counter-attacks.

Even though Diamanti said that he wants to stay at Bologna recently, I still think he's a target.

Diamanti - Jovetic - Giovinco
Llorente

Very possible. Very effective.

If Jovetič is coming, I think one of Vucinič and Giovinco may be gone, in 433 all three occupy the same left forward position, in 352 all would prefer the role of SS.
