Just read a report that Mirko Graziano(GDS) has said a hour ago in Gazzetta's studio :
"Juve wants 2 forwards of these 3 : Ibra,Jojo and Suarez.Surez doesn't want to stay in England and will not be a hard deal"...

It seems to me that the biggest name we already signed and that we won't sign any other of that profile. Llorente is our max. I've read that management has 20M for transfers. We can either sell one of our players like Vidal which would be moronic if we want to purchase the likes of Suarez. The other way is that Exor recapitalize Juventus which would increase our funds. The second option is highly unlikely after last Elkan's statement in which he is saying how Juventus now must convert success on the pitch into financial success.
Players like Muriel, Ljajic, Diamanti are our objectives.

Solid? That would be a massive deal with his track record... would love saying he arrived for less than Amauri!
Well ID, you're entitled to your opinion - and I certainly won't sit here and say that Jovetic is going to turn into a better player than Ibra - that would represent massive growth, very hard to predict that. But saying he'll never be 1/10th the player is a little much, imo.
One thing that I was fairly surprised about - look at their stats at similar ages in Serie A (and consider that one of these players lost a full season to a major knee injury, and was also the focal point of his offence). Jovetic has a better goals per game ratio in Calcio at his age than Zlatan did. Ibra didn't put up a better goals per game ratio than Jovetic did (at age 22) in our league, until he was 25, and playing for Inter.
Again, will Jojo become better than Ibra? I'm not saying that, nor do I think he'll become as prolific a goalscorer; Zlatan's shots is fierce, his finishing is sublime.
I just wanted to point a simple fact out to the masses of Ibra worshippers, and more so to the Jojo bashers out there (I know you rate the player, though).
It would be great to secure a player that the club can grow with.

How do you rate a player like Abel Hernandez ? 22yo, lot of talent, Uruguyan player playing for Palermo (hum hum it reminds me something)... I don't watch many Palermo games but he seems to be a real good player.

Do you think he will be able to accept to be a sort of leader of a big team ? To be comfortable with such a huge transfer ?
IMO he can be two types of players : on one hand he can be a superstar like Ale Del Piero. On the other hand, he could become a player like Giovinco who is not able to impose himself in Juve...
I don't know Jojo well but he seems to be a very talented player, but don't know if he worths that money.

From what I've seen of Hernandez, I would agree with Red. I would need to see a lot more continuity and production out of him to be able to make an insightful prediction about how he'll turn out. Obviously has some quality, though.
I've seen much more of Jovetic over the years, and I do think that he can be a solid contributor when it comes to leadership. With guys like Buffon, Pirlo, Chiello, Marchisio, and others, we wouldn't need him to step into a primary leadership role, either - he can just be another guy who adds to those qualities in the locker room.
I do think that he can become a superstar. I won't say that he can be like ADP, that would be sacrilege at this point, but I think he is very, very talented - and I do think he has a lot of the same characteristics in his game (also, both had knee injuries, and have a similar 'weakness', really: pace isn't their strength).
I wouldn't worry too much about Jovetic going the route of Giovinco, either. Seba's physicality imposes certain restrictions on his game that Jovetic will never have to deal with on a day to day basis. There are also environmental factors at the club which seem to stress Giovinco out quite a bit; probably just a result of the mess he experienced the first time he was here, and the fact that he's Juventino and just wants to help the club so much.
The environment at Fiorentina is much different, but Jovetic has performed well in limited European action, he's been a mainstay for his NT, and I think he could handle the pressure that would come with joining a big club like Juve.

The Serie A champions have increasingly been linked with returning interest in the Argentine striker, who they were previously rumoured to be looking at last summer.
And Gazzetta dello Sport believe that representatives from the Bianconeri will meet with their counterparts from Los Blancos to discuss a possible move for the forward.
