Conte:"I have to laugh when I hear that with 2 or 3 purchases we can win Champions League. Italian football is stalling" via GdS
Problem is that 2-3 purchase that we need for CL challenge would cost us 100M today and we don't have that money. Prices today are heavily inflated when one Javi Martinez cost Bayern 40M. Good player but certainly not worth that kind of money.

I dislike the recent BS about Pirlo not coping with heavy pressure.

Pirlo wasnt responsible for the loss.
The reason i keep leaving him out is for 2 reasons:

1.Juves play is too focused on Pirlo and what if we cant find a replacement? So why not start trying to play a game without focusing on him
2.He is old and we should be giving younger players the chance

I want to see a more attacking midfielder rather than a deep lying playmaker. If we play a 4-3-3 I would prefer an attacking midfielder

Some young players we could get for the wings and ss are Berardi, illic, and ijajic. Insigne would be a good young player but he plays for a scum team

Pirlo is still world class, who has another opinion can delete his account. The problem is that everybody gives him the ball, other teams (world class teams) know that and play high pressure with three or four man.. If Juve have two or three players who can do what Pirlo does than we don't have a problem and than is more difficult for other teams (and easier for Pirlo)..

We should look to players who are young and who are strong in every way (creative, strong, technical).. Players don't have 2 cost 30 million.. Players like Draxler and Kevin De Bruyne are great players and will not cost 25 million of something like that...

Our staff needs to look better abroad, the can take an example to some other teams in Europe.. Our team is strong, we only miss two or three key players..

-A striker ala Suarez, Jovetic, Benzema
- A strong wingback for the left
- a midfielder who can do everything (someone like Pogba)
- A back up center back

No one argued that Pirlo wasnt class. Also Draxler and De Bruyne are both attacking midfielders who can operate on the wing not deep lying play makers so you are off and both those players would probably go for at least 15m each .

We cant get Suarez, while we could afford Jovetic or Benzema but we will not get them.

Also how can pogba do everything? Vidal does alot more then pogba.

Okay then, thoughts on Loïc Rémy?

He's very quick and can slot in as a striker and right winger. Apparently there is a relegation clause of £6m in his contract, but he already has quite a large salary.

Having attacking playmakers that stay further up the pitch is what Juve needs.

For attack I would love to have one of Jovetic/Lewandowski/Sanchez if we cant afford them then try young and talented player like Leo Baptistao from Rayo for example.

For LB i got really impressed with Ricardo Rodriguez from Wolfsburg, but that was only one match (vs. Bayer) this guy is just 20 years old and already played 11 matches for Swiss national team. Any opinions on this fella?

I can show you how our team will look like next season, its just so predictable:

Buffon
Barzagli Bonucci Chiellini
Lichtsteiner Vidal Pirlo Marchisio Peluso
Diamanti - Llorente

Buffon
Lichtsteiner Barzagli Chiellini Peluso
Vidal Pirlo Marchisio
Diamanti Llorente Vuc/Gio

Llorente, Diamanti, Poli, Berardi in. Maybe a solid defender like Ogbonna.

And that's our mercato. Around 30M spent, but that's all we can do with our financial troubles.

It would be 4231 than. Not that I'm against it but I remember last season 433 and that was some nice football back than. Pirlo is not a problem for now. In a season or two I hope Pogba can replace him but right now he is our catalyst. I see other problems such as Vucinic having one good game out of every three, other strikers can't hold the ball under pressure, formation 352 is leaving us exposed against big European sides, Marchisio was invible in both games, we lack proper LB. I would resolve all those issues before I would think about Pirlo.
