We need that deadwood, even if we sell it we are only going to buy more deadwood as these mediocre players are needed to build a team. Pepe, Giach and Padion etc happen to actually be good deadwood. These guys are prepared to sit on the bench for most of the season on low wages and be ready to come in and give it their all whenever they are needed. It is hard to find decent enough players who are willing to do that on low wages. Not to mention the impact someone like Pepe has in the dressing room.

I think Quag is already gone after his $#@!ty attitude towards Alessio and rightly so. Matri if he wants to make the next World Cup would have to move as we know Llorente will be a starter. I see us sacrificing Matri in some kind of deal for Jovetic.

I wouldn't mind Matri staying as he'd be a good backup for Llorente.

I think Quag will be the one sacrified and sold for a deal for Jojo or *other SS(Sanchez/Suarez...)
I really see Matri staying,and think he deserves it,moreover,he will have no problem of rotating with Llorente IMO,depending on who's in better form.

The thing is,having a forward line of Mirko,Matri,Llorente,Gio AND Jojo type of player* will mean that probably Gio will be the 5th in the pecking order.and probably be unhappy about it.

I think signing Verratti is more important than a striker. The guy is fantastic and would make the transition from Pirlo to him so much easier. Our game is so dependent on a regista like Pirlo and when he declines I'm not willing to stand there with guys like Cigarini as our only options.

It is very important to secure Verratti signing,even if not this summer,but he has to be Pirlo's heir.

Milan made 35m last season with their run to the CL QF (I could be wrong here, but it definitely is in the 30m+ bracket). When taking in TV revenue/match ticket sales/prize money etc.

If we get to the semi final, we should be looking at close to 40m at the very minimum I would say.

Sell a couple of our players this summer, I'm thinking primarily Quag and Giacc.
