Then we have no chance as marotta will probably offer 10m payable in 3 year installments plus bonuses
Yeah, look at inter and milan, they had the balls to offer top dollar for top players !

di maria to play lwb?
Would get his anus torn to shreds if asamoah was on the opposite side.

Asamoah, best left sided defensive winger in the world.

Do we even have a chance of getting Christian Ericksen.
as a potential playmaker alternative though I know Morotta is a cheap bastard but smart at the same time cause were never in debt but, he might just shop on the clearance isle again and get near expired canned goods like o let's say Alonso.

oh really? cuz i remember asamoah struggling againt robben and ribery
I've seen messi struggle against mexes. And kill him the next game.

Asamoah was in bad shape after the ACON. The entire team was actually.
He's what, 23 ? Very young for a defensive player, considering ribery and robben on their peaks. Lets see what would happen if they meet again this season ;)

but i am not sure what that has to do with my question.....

we wont switch to 4-3-3. the fact that we played entire pre-season with 3-5-2 is proof of this.

so could di maria potentially play a more lwb?

nah.

we need width.

not once last season did i watch juve play and think "man it would be nice to have 6 defenders att al times in juve's half."

but i did think we sucked at exploiting the wings and we lack pace and crossing ability

That was a depleted Asamoah after pleasuring a hundred "Ragazza's" in a month. Like a weakend Batman taking on Bane in knightfall.

Is Mamadou Sakho worth taking a gamble on? He has some SBA traits, but is still as raw as piece of rare fillet mignon. With some good solid coaching, he could possibly fulfill the "New Thuram" label he was given.

We are rocksolid, thats what matters.
We create plenty of chances, what we need is someone to finish them off

Having tevez as SS is also quite the improvement
Looking at games against Bayern last season we really missed having man-beating wide players. If we want to beat the best we have to do better on the wings. It really doesn't matter how solid Asamoah is defensively because when you're failing to use the width of a 3-5-2 properly you're going to get caught out overusing the middle especially against Schweinsteiger and co.

Sportitalia running an article that Matri is likely to accept Napoli and will give his yes post the SuperCoppa. I'm thinking we may use some of that money and reinvest it in a Zapata type forward. Although closing the mercato with DiMaria (as rumoured) and Kolarov/Zuniga, will be something special, no doubt.
Forget about Di Maria he is unrealistic based on transfer fee wages and position.. although I rate this guy a lot!
Fast great dribbler awesome technique nice shots... I`d take him! He will be great even if we play him off position (Not as a wing back or any position which require a good defensive ability...)
I can see him playing as a SS and doing a great job even if he is definitely more of a winger...

As for our forwards - I hope I`m wrong but I`m not confident with Tevez and Llorente.

Portuguese newspaper A Bola.

I remember this same paper who decieved me three years ago under Del Neri that we had snapped him up (if anyone remember it.)

It's always great to be having that wide man option, especially whilst playing away from home or counter attacking. Nearly every top team in Europe has that option apart from us.
