I've been against the signing of Jovetic for a long time, especially last summer. A lot of people can confirm this.

I've never said Matri is awesome, I think he's a decent striker who is quite useful when on form, and it seems he has regained his form as of late.

I love these absurd leaps of logic. So silly. Can you show us a single person who said Matri is as good as Trez? Matri is good when he is in form. Close to Llorente in quality, a different style of player though. Trez was a world above these guys. Amazing striker. Even watching him help River get promoted last year his abilities and instincts are still unreal even if his pace is too slow for Juve now.

I've never thought Jovetic was worth more than 20 mil, even when he tore up the league in the first 5-6 games this season. I think it's only the people saying he is worth 30 mil + that are basing it on one or two great performances. On the whole, his season performance warrants 15-20 mil max.

It's his worst season? He has 9 goals and 3 assists in 19 appearances. Last season he had 14 and 2 in 27. The season before he missed. The season before that he had 6 goals 2 assists in 29. In the league. I'd say statistically this season and last are comparable, and by far his best seasons... He's a good player, just not 30-35 million good.

Where Jovetic shone was in European play from 08/09 to 09/10. He was amazing. 9 goals in 10 European games. However he hasn't played in Europe in 3 years, and his league stats are nowhere close. He has had multiple games the last 2 seasons where he has just vanished.

Not numbers-wise but how he's performing - not to say that he's been bad this season, just less "important" for them.

I'd say 30 is fair for him. Can't see who you can get better than him for that.
