I would say Jackson Martinez is better. Different style of player. But he's a beast. And Porto values him at about 18.5 million pounds, so under 25 million euros.

Lewandowski is also better IMO and will probably go for in the neighbourhood of 25-30 million.

I think JoJo could turn into something phenomenal, but he's the type of player that could be a complete bust as well. He also has a serious injury in his fairly recent past which makes him more of a risk. I just don't think you pay likely 35 mil for a guy who hasn't really shown that he is one of the best. Those UCL performances were from before his injury, and after his great start this year he has been rather unremarkable this year.

Jackson Martinez has 23 goals in 26 games for Porto this year. Including 3 in 6 in the UCL. Powerful, fast, big, 26 year old striker. Dude is a beast.

Lewandowski netted 30 last year and helped Dortmund win a double, and he has 20 already this year including 4 in 6 in the UCL death group.

I like JoJo at 20 million, but I'd probably still go for him at 25. Borderline though. At 30? We just don't need a SS like him enough to spend 30. If we're going to spend 30 on JoJo we might as well fork out a little more and go for Suarez.

I doubt it too. I don't think the board spends more than 20 mil on a single player summer window. Would love to see us get Suarez for 40-45 mil though. I have a feeling he's going to demand a transfer due to lack of UCL play at Anfield. He's too talented to be wasting away there for so many years while that team fades. If Llorente demanded UCL play, Suarez who is far more talented certainly will, especially with how he left his previous teams. I see Bayern Munich for his future. Or PSG. HA.

Jackson martinez is indeed a fucking beast. I brought up his name few pages back. Problam is: he can't fit 4-3-3 :)
Oh, and don't compare Juve to Porto... We have about 40 scouts, when they got 250 worldwide.

Jovetic's injury history does'nt concern me much. Prior to '10-'11 he featured regularly for Fiorentina, and played in almost all their games last season. Falcao tore his knee ligaments at River (ala Jovetic) and missed a whole season after surgery. Given his form the past few years, you'd hardly figure he had knee reconstruction. At the right club, Jojo could blossom into something truly special. Viola can take a fucking jog though if they expect 30 mil for him. €20-22 million at the most I'd value him.

If it was somehow possible, Suarez would be the equivalent of mind numbing sex at Juve. I love the way he just noncholantly nutmegs defenders, as if it were as natural as breathing, sort of like a modern day Omar Sivorí.

Yet again. Jovetic doesn't turn up and the knifes are out like neymar in that England friendly. Suarez would be tops. Seems hard to please people. Only til someone utterly raapes us then the same old "we should consider this guy" craap comes out

The Icardi hype after he scored on us was quite funny tbh.It seems like some sections of fans have clearly picked their parameters when it comes to rating players.

Score on Juve=Future GOAT.

Fare badly against Juve=shat player.

Hilarious knee-jerking i have to say.Let me remind you guys ,we paid 11m for Gio's half i mean FFS thats a lot for him.In today's market Jo-Jo would command atleast close to that 30m figure.Suddenly one poor performance and everyone brings their 'Inner Marotta' out when it comes to player prices.

 A man with reason  and a +Rep to you.

If Gio's half was worth 11 Million, and we willingly paid it, I don't see how JoJo isn't worth at least 25 million, seeing as he is a superior player.

The market dictates prices, so if someone is willing to pay 30 million Euros for Jovetic, that's his price.

Pretty calm weekend actually. Drinking beer and working, not a bad Sunday at all. They were bothering me last night and got an infraction again. I'm trying to cool down. :D

P.S. I have no fucking idea how that mention shit works, please mods, give me a manual.

Who's this young Lyon French player we are being linked with with a Marietta summer bowsman special? He's born in 91 Clemente is his first name and he's a u21 international. Media saying a possible replacement for pirlo when time comes. His contract expires in July.

thats because jovetic is an admirable player that is humble, whilst neymar is all act and showboat, wich makes people relish when he fails.

also, many people just waited for the moment he'd come up against a "welcome to europe" defence, and see him get shafted all game. including me.

Man, there isnt a measurement that can describe how much better 90ties ronaldo was compared to neymar
