Some rumours about Higuain who could be transfered for around 22M.
And what about showing interest on Griezmann ? IMO it could be a good alternative to Di Maria. Ok he's not as strong as Di Maria, but costs much less and has a great potential.

Cool but if we're supposedly letting Licht go, i hope they're not thinking of Padoin to fit his shoes. We could go 4-2-3-1, use Asamoah who i believe will be back to his best form soon on the left and we'd need a RW. Unless we go 4-3-3 and use Higuain (meh), Llorente, Vucinic/Gio.

And i also think we should get Verratti before someone else does...again.

I think that for Verratti it's too late. We failed when he was at Pescara, we had our chance but we failed. I don't think we can get him soon IMO

Sad but true, would love to see him in a Juve shirt in a year or so, but it's just gonna get more and more out of reach the longer it's left.

Fucking PSG, the Serie A vacuum :andy2:

That's it. PSG is the 21st Seria A team.
And you're right, I think maybe we could have a chance if Ancelotti leaves this summer but I don't really think Verratti is going to reverse...

I would sell Licht, because I believe Isla can replace him, the chilean can do everything that Licht does. Both can run a lot and they suck offensively.Isla is much younger so I would give him another chance.

Did Pogba really prove something before arriving at Juventus ? I don't think so but we gave him a fantastic chance and it was a great bet.
I think it would have been the same with Verratti. He doesn't play every game with PSG but he shows some very interesting skills.

But when we face to oil's power...almost impossible to do something, even if Verratti's favorite club is Juventus. For sure...

Verratti came from a good season in serie b.
Pogba was a major young talent, oozing potential, and allready at manchester united.

pogba definatly had more going for him.

Offcourse, pogba is older then verratti, not much, but older.
We couldnt have won against the oil. And the rumor is that Napoli was actually ahead of us, even if i find that difficult to believe

Isla can do one thing and one thing only, leave.

Didn't someone post something about PSG going on a blowout sale? Like they want to sell Verratti, Lavezzi and a couple other players?

I still think we should be able to get him IF that was our priority.

Well he still have to shows us that. Selling Licht and relying on Isla who failed till now wouldn't be a wise move. But I would definitely give him more chance next season. As you said he's fairly young and we all have seen what he was capable of when played in Udinese. I hope it's not some kind of psychological problem.

Zidane have been sold, why not Licht? He is not going to get any younger, we should sell while we can get some good money. That I would do because we have decent substitute for him and we can get good money from PSG and the likes.Moggi did that and made this club self-sustainable and strong.

Marotta did fail on that one. Actually it's one of his biggest failures.

He reached an agreement with Pescara. He'd pay stg like 2.5M + 1/2 Buoy for 1/2 Verratti, who would remain another year at Pescara.

Than Raiola said no, Buoy ain't going to bloody Pescara.

Pescara president then said: OK, gimme money to compensate the absence of Buoy. Around 1/1.5M.

Marotta played hard ball, refused, wanted a discount. The negotiation lingered and then, just then, PSG appeared with a whole shit of money.

Summing it up: Marotta misjudged potential. Had he increased the offer in 1.5M, paying 4M for 1/2 the player, Verratti would be joining Juve this summer.

I know he played in Serie B. But didn't he pay 4M for 1/2 Gabbiadini, who had barely played for Atalanta? 5M for 1/2 Boakye, who used to play for Sassuolo, also in Serie B? He refused to pay 4M for 1/2 Verratti, as simple as that. He considered Gabbiadini and Boakye to have more potential than Verratti. He even payed 2M for Bonatini, 1.7M for Masi, ffs, 4M for Leali, who is much less proven.

So yeah, Marotta fucked it up big time. I consider this one of his biggest failures. But he had a lot of beautiful deals too. Pirlo, Vidal and Pogba, the best.

Pogba is...6 months younger than Verratti.
And it was known in Italy that Verratti was and is a future bug talent (compared to Pirlo etc.)
So I think we may made a mistake letting him go out of Italy.

Verratti had not yet proven more, then other young prodigy's. He did the sensible thing.

Also, you base alot off media. let me tell you this media tells me today that napoli was close to his signature and we werent.
stop trusting media and basing your entire opinion on it
