If, and if, this is true, Juve could get around 55M in terms of value from transfer fees (30M with Quags + Matri + Vuci/Gio + 5M 1/2 Marrone + 2.5M 1/2 De Ceglie + 12M Litch + 5M 1/2 Immobile + 2M Melo loan)

55M is exactly the amount required for Higuain and Jovetic.

There is said to be 20M available for transfers regardless of player sales. This 20M would be enough to land Berardi (4M co-own), Peluso (4M) and a good LB (12M - Lulic or Kolarov).

If Litch is made available, probably Conte will move to a 433 with Caceres as a right back and Padoin as the backup, or even remain in the 352 with Caceres as the starting RWB. But he'd need a new backup CB then.

A mix up maybe of 3-5-2 and 4-3-3?

Buffon

-----Barzagli - Bonucci --- Chiellini

Isla --- Vidal - Pirlo --- Marchisio

------------------------------------LW

---Higuain --- Llorente

Never ever ever. I'd only exchange Vidal for Messi. Not even for Ronaldo.

He is the best of the world right now at his position. He's the most complete CM I've ever seen, honestly. And he has grinta and shows great loyalty towards the club. No way... gimme Messi and I'll think about it.

Fresh breaking news.

According to Italian media (GdS among others) the meeting between Marotta, Paratici and Bronzetti, regarding Higuain, was successful. They will meet again. But Juve evaluates the player as 20M, Real wants 25M.

The player already said yes, if Juve pays him 5M/year (currently he makes 3.8M).

Also there's a high possibility of signing Jovetic. He prefers to remain in Italy than move to England. His agent has a very good rapport with Marotta and Paratici.

Juve offered 1/2 Marrone + one out of Matri, Quags and Giovinco so Montella can choose. Marotta will offer an additional 10/15M.

Also Marotta has put a few players on the market in order to fund the new purchases. Quags, Matri, one out of Vuvinic or Giovinco, Marrone, De Ceglie, Litchsteiner, and one out of Immobile, Gabbiadini, Boakye (probably Immobile). Maybe also the 1/2 we have of Isla.

Marotta is definitely chasing not 1, but 2 top players.

Another option is Jackson Martinez. Porto will supposedly accept a bid of 25M for him. Juve could be interested. Also the situation of Suarez, Sanchez and Ibra is being followed. If Barca decides to sell Sanchez, they will let Juve now in first place.
We should focus on the two players we really want. If it's Jovetic and Higuaín ok, but we should not play with so many cards (Martínez, Suárez, Sánchez, Ibra, etc.) We should take them into consideration, but must focus in two objetives, the more realistic ones.

I agree, and I think that's exactly what's happening.

The 2 top priorities are Higuain and Jovetic right now, and they seem to be realistic. Ibra and Sanchez are likely to be "plan B". Regarding Suarez and Martinez the whole world is keeping an eye on them, Juve is probably doing nothing special in that regard. Just keeping attentive to news.

Vidal is the heart of juventus, he'll carry just about any formation.

And Pedro, interesting news on the transfers  but all those sales... its hard to sell, especially so much

Exactly the way i like it.

Secure the world class Higuain, actively negotiate for the promising Jovetic.

In the mean time, keep checks on ibra and pounce if he lowers his wage enough

sanchez.... would work if we go 4-3-3. would very well actually

WHY NOT 4-2-3-1 :p

I agree that it's very unlikely to be able to sell all these guys.

But the most important thing is: Juventus is showing to be more assertive and aggressive in this mercato than we could think before. Probably pushed by Conte's public demands.

I would be happy with Volkswagon Higuain and Jovetic. Obviously, I would prefer Suarez over both, but that will probably not happen. Ibrahimovic is getting older and while he would certainly take us to the next level, it would only be for a short period of time. So we might as well go with the younger options as the others still have time to grow as players.
