The more I read of your posts the more I'm convinced that you're far more insane than B81. The Higua ship has sailed? If Higuain will come it means that Llorente is a back up, no way in hell that is a negative thing.
I wouldn't pay much attention to somebody's opinion of me, when their sporting opinions normally sound like a whiskey soaked diatribe. A situation where a club that's been chasing a solid forward for three years, signs a player on a salary of 4.5m and then benches him because they bought another player for 25m or so to play in the exact same position. You need to understand and get a grip on the fact that our resources are as valuable as Marrotta's contract extension is to you. And ironically, they're interlinked so I don't see him keeping his blinkers on the way you are right now. Llorente has been signed on a free. The opportunity we have now is to complement that move with a player that can start with him, not instead of him. Get it? Got it? Good.

Maybe Marotta and Conte trust Giovinco and Vucinic as our SS, and don't plan on buying any others. :)

Anyone think of that. :D

Diamanti - Higuain - Vucinic
(Pepe) - (Llorente) - (Giovinco)

Sell - Quag and Matri.

:)

Highly unlikely. I'm pretty sure we're going to be prirotizing acquiring a player who is a level or two above them. A few of those are going to be available this mercato season with a lot of movement for players/coaches.

Why is it the most realistic?

If he's put on the market, don't you think other clubs will snatch him up in seconds?
Club is selling. Player is open to leaving. He earns about 4m at Real, well within our top player wage parameters. Would be a substantial upgrade and one with a continental reputations he fits the profile to the t. But Llorente is here now, and unless we are trading him to Madrid to lower Higuain's price, I just don't see this move making sense. We have the money this mercato, I hope for the love of god, we don't waste our resources. Nani/Sanchez and Suarez/Ibra/Reus is the way to go.

If we have the chance and the resources to sign Higuain...we should not pass that chance up.

Conte will do something to incorporate both Llorente and Higuain.
