Christian Eriksen? Yea, would be a pretty good idea to buy. Thou, he is on the slow side of things.
Yes Christian Eriksen. I think he could be a big upgrade but I don't know if marotta and co are interested in him... But I think he can be bought at a reasonable price.
Lets ask to bendtner to convince him :nico:

Watching Coutinho play makes me cringe with anger, for how Liverpool only paid 8m for such a talented kid while we spend double for the crappiest Strikers.

He would have worked perfectly in our 4-3-3 formation. And would be someone who can actually take defenders on 1-on-1's.

 Ok, back to Osvaldo now...

.
It would be interesting to see what he would be like in Serie A.

Because Drogba is an old overrated douchebag thinking about his wallet and we didn't need him. We only needed an injury insurance. If you really think he would've won us the games against Bayern, you're even more naive than I thought. Would've been a waste of money.

And we're not talking about a 6-month addition here. So stop comparing completely different things.
and what exactly does osvaldo have that Drogba doesn't? old or not he has a billion times more talent and skill than osvaldo ever had and ever will. Did you see him against madrid? he was a difference maker upfront, i'm not saying we may have necessarily beaten bayern with Drogba but sure as hell would have done a better job of it than the strikers we played against them. There is no way Osvaldo would have done shit against them either.

if you think Drogba is overrated, then fuck knows why you are the one overrated osvaldo

If we're not going to look at signing someone like Alexis Sanchez (looks like he wants to stay in Barcelona anyway) or maybe Jackson Martinez then we should not bother with signing a 'good' 26-28 year old striker like Osvaldo. We already did that with Vucinic, Matri, Quagliarella etc.

If we are going to put €18m-€20m down make it on someone with a lot of potential who might not make an instant impact but will in perhaps 6-12 months. I'm thinking of the money Milan paid for El Shaarawy, Roma for Lamela, or Liverpool for Suarez. We need to develop our own world class players with that initial investment, because we are not even in the market for world class strikers.
who do you have in mind though?

CdS - Juve ahead of Inter for Sanchez.

Also rumours of Quag + cash for Osvaldo.

Then there are other rumours for Diamanti.

I doubt we'll get all three. I'm thinking Diamanti is an alternative to Sanchez.

Totally agree about Drogba. Despite of his age he is 1000 times more talented than osvaldo. He would have bring his experience and his winning spirit to jive. All that conte loves.
On a short term period it would have been a good solution...

I would not mind that at all, to be honest.

That's a great attack right there.

Just I can't see Giovinco or Vucinic leaving this summer.
