Our mid is set with MVP as starters. Pogba-Isla-Giac as subs.

Peluso and Asamoah to rotate on left. Padoin to replace Litch at right.

Caceres to sub Barzagli/Chiellini when needed. Peluso to sub Chiellini when Caceres is not available.

We need a backup SW to replace Bonucci when he can't play. Marrone is not that man. He should be sold on co-own for like 4M to develop somewhere else.

Uprfont, sell Quagliarella and Matri/Giovinco. Than bring in a talented SS/AM and we are set.

If we are looking to switch to a 4-3-3 why would we want a lwb we would need a lb. If we got a lwb it would only promote using a 3-5-2
I clearly said plan B and we have a LB in Peluso while Chiellini & Caceres are possible options as well. Good enough for a backup plan.

Sweeper? Ditch the damn 3-5-2. If we find top-quality LWB, world class, Bale type of shit, I doubt even he can even cut really, will get propably overlapped. Then we can do a 3-5-2.

We are not set for a 3-5-2 we need a proper lwb, and an ss and for a 4-3-3 we need a lb, and 2 wingers or cf.

I would prefer Sanchez because isnt ISco more of attacking midfielder/winger while sanchez is a winger/ss
The narrow-minded that keeps on thinking a lb can't play as a lwb. Then wtf is Lichtsteiner doing all season long !? Get real... It's no FM...

Same goes for an SS and a winger, for instance Sanchez.

So that makes only TWO players.

Sell:
Marrone (4M co-own)
De Ceglie (3M)
Pepe (4M)
Quagliarella (6M)
Giovinco (9M)

Total: 26M

Buy:
Peluso (4M)
Free backup CB (like Diakite or stg)
Llorente - free
Isco (20M)
Promote Rugani/Magnussen to the main squad to play as a backup LCB when required
Total: 24M

Starting XI: Buffon; Barzagli, Bonucci, Chiellini; Litch, Vidal, Pirlo, Marchisio, Asamoah; Isco, Llorente.

Backup team: Storari; Caceres, SW (Diakite), Rugani (Magnussen); Padoin, Isla, Pogba, Giac, Peluso; Vucinic, Matri.

So, without spending, we should be able to improve. Let Gabbiadini, Boakye, Immobile, Gabriel Appelt, Buoy, Beltrame, Leali, spend more time maturing.

Do you really think we stand a chance on Isco when teams like Chelsea, City are sniffing around?
I think we can do it.

Manchester City will be too busy with Jovetic. Chelsea are probably looking at some overhyped, overpriced Brazilian.

We'll need to at least offer 20M for him though.

That would be sweet. Just we won't by selling Giovinco, nor should we.

Llorente, Isco, Vucinic, Giovinco, Matri

I think the 3-5-2 was right for us this year. It gave us a very tough team to break down and was solid throughout Serie A. It is a tactically VERY SAFE formation, the way we play it. At times it is more of a 5-3-2.

But there is nothing really coming from the wings and that kills you in Europe. 3 CBs standing back behind half kills you against the top teams in Europe.

Bonucci and Pirlo, for me, are not up to the pace of top European competition in their respective positions.

And we have Pogba who is ready to take over the game.

A 4-3-3 suits us best for next year as long as we can find at least TWO clever attackers.

Lichtsteiner-Barzagli-Chiellini-LB
Pogba
Vidal-Marchisio/Asamoah
Pepe-Llorente-Vucinic/Gio

Ideally, you would add two wing players to that attacking team like maybe Sanchez and Nani. Or maybe you just sell the stadium and buy Suarez for the left.

Just ecause a player can play a certain position it diesnt mean the player can excel at that position. Livht can play rwb so can padoin giachherini and pepe does that mean they can excel at that position ? No so dude realise that we need lb. i say lb so we dont switch to a 3-5-2. Aleo does sanchez play well on the wing? Not really so i dont see your point

Barza - Bonu - Cheillini will always be the bedrock of any Juve formation, it is futile to suggest anything that does not start with that.
Unfortunately, I agree.

I think we'd really benefit switching to a 4-3-3 as our primary formation. Having the players to switch from a 4-3-3 to a 3-5-2 on the fly would also be very beneficial too. We should be practicing both, and always rotating between them depending on the team we play.

Maybe we can see a back four of Lichtsteiner - Barzagli - Bonucci - Chiellini.

think the stats suggested we averaged 19-20 shots on goal, something like that?

it was the best or 2nd best from amongst all the top leagues IIRC.

the problem is not the formation, it is the inability of our FWs to finish the job.

Isco and Eriksen. I think two attacking players who can score freely would compensate for not being able to land a Cavani/Falcao/Suarez level striker. Jovetic and Sanchez are also in that attacking players range, but we need minimum two to make plays, one of Jovetic or Sanchez won't be enough and might even backfire like Diego. I am leaning towards Eriksen because he runs a lot and might allow us to play the high intensity game that we want to play.

That was not the case aganist bayern. We can blame the attackers as much as wed like but i also think its the formation

We dont need eriksen any ways i think he is better suited for the spanish league

They have had to curb their spending of late and they have no need for isco their problem lies in finding the right balance in midfield and a manager who has the slightest bit of tactical know how
