The formation I like the most is 4-2-3-1 but we don't have the players for it, plus we have Pirlo who is too good (at least in Serie A) to be left out of it. But in a couple of years I'd like to see something like this, which could well be called a 4-3-3.

Buffon
Licht - Barzagli - Chiellini - :boh:

Vidal - Pogba

:boh: - Marchisio - Isco/J.R.

Llorente

Isco and Eriksen. I think two attacking players who can score freely would compensate for not being able to land a Cavani/Falcao/Suarez level striker. Jovetic and Sanchez are also in that attacking players range, but we need minimum two to make plays, one of Jovetic or Sanchez won't be enough and might even backfire like Diego. I am leaning towards Eriksen because he runs a lot and might allow us to play the high intensity game that we want to play.
Eriksen

My favorite formation too.. But if Chelsea can't make it work even though they sign Hazard, Mata, Oscar for the creative players then I dont think Juve ever will either. I mean. If Mata, Hazard and Oscar is not enough - what is?

marchisio runs around a lot too... though we don't always see it
I honestly don't rate Eriksen much higher than Giaccherini. Sure, Eriksen is still young, but he's not the solution to anything at all.

For us to sign a player like Hazard would mena everything. We'd go crazy if Marotta were to sign a top class talent like him. But if he ever will, like we've seen it with Chelski, it's not enough. One 40m € player is not enough. We're still far ahead from the other teams in Europe's elite - why? Because we rely on a 33 yo Pirlo, who, when in form is world class, but out of 5 games only shows it in 1..

conte is wrong about a 2-3 signigns not making this team competitive in europe.

villa, hernanes and verratii would make this team great.

villa alone would do. we proved we are amogn europe best 8 team this season.
