Diamanti. :touched:

I'd love to have him here, but where would we slot him in a 3-5-2?

Berardi's left is even better :tuttosport: , why not him, if we're looking for depth?
Berardi is the real deal. He's going to be something special. Hopefully we snatch him up ASAP.

There's only two players I have this feeling towards; Gabbiadini and Berardi.

All those are just assumptions.Cant say for sure.

But speaking presently this signing makes no sense taking age, cost, and the desired quality he would bring into the team(which is not much) into consideration.Depth/Squad rotation players should be like the last things on our menu.

I might have assumed the cost part but still if you think he might be Pepe's replacement why do we even need one ? he's been literally proved redundant in this season,we're coping well in his absence as we have a lot of other depth options and besides we wont be switching to 4-3-3 anytime soon.

Fair enough regarding the 4-3-3-argument. Diamanti would obviously be best suited for that tactic, and we don't seem to use it anymore. But we did use it a lot more when Pepe was around, though, and I think we would utilize it more if Diamanti was to be signed.

I wouldn't want us to pay 10 million in cash for Diamanti, but 4-5 millions + a fringe player (depending on who, ofc) wouldn't be a bad deal.

Signing him would give us more options regarding formations. I believe we would see the re-introduction of the 4-3-3 in certain games
