He is not that WC striker we need no, but if we cant get any WC striker in January we might should consider him, cause we need at CF and i personally find Matri and Quag too inconsistent.. but then again dont know if he would be any better than these two.

Definitely a step up from anything we have right now. His skillset isn't such the source of worry for me, he could easily got 20 goals/season for us. It's his attitude and that he seems to be a disturbing force in the locker room that's upsetting.

There is some truth in what you are saying about most strikers mentioned the last few days, but that doesn't take away from the fact that we can't keep shuffling our forwards for some marginal improvements. E.g. Bendtner - he could be useful this season, if he is given time might even turn out to be a better sub than Matri or Quag but when and will that be ... that's another question. Then you have the settling period.

If we get Benzema or Falcao - there is a certain upgrade to our strikeforce. Benzema/Falcao gets the starting spot, Vuc/Gio rotate. One of Matri/Quag is a goner and Bendtner ... he symbolizes... another million down the drain.

If we get a good offer for Matri or Quag we should sell this winter imho. That could give our 'loaned with the option of loaning further' forward a chance and some cash to chase the big ones.

when the financial restricted reality kicks in, they refuse it, and demand players out of reach
