Peter Pan Pirlo isn't positioned as an attacking central midfielder...He is far more a regista. But I agree with your suggestion; we don't have a player capable of replacing Pirlo like for like, but Marchisio could play there, as could Pogba, with the lack of genius through the middle balanced out by adding attacking threat to the flanks...Isla instead of Lich for example as the RWB. Or the little goblin in the central midfield area along with two of Pogba/Vidal/Marchisio. We have many options, but yes...not natural regista other than Pirlo.

We have to buy 2 wc attackers in 2 years (this and for next one) if we want to be a dominant side in europe
1 need to be someone like Neymar or Jovetic
the 2nd one is the type which we need more at the moment the goal scoring type. Dzeko might not be my 1st choice as I rather see us sign Cavani or Higuain but someone like Dzeko could also do the job very well.
The only one of the 2nd type who is not a top goal scorer (IMO) who I`ll accept as the goal scoring type of striker is Balotelli since his strength and attention he gets from opponents will make us create even more while he is not a bad finisher as well...

Sounds like something real madrid, psg, or man city would do.

We will have to settle for players we can afford with the eye on beeing sustainable in the future, so promising talent is more our business model


We should look into this player, he can be our offensive pogba in therms of quality and potential (and hype)
