Fuck Marotta though.
Marotta knows what he's doing, he's bringing us the top player on our own terms. Why pay 25m for Llorente when you can wait 4 months, sign him for 10m while still being on top of the league.

Mastermind Marotta :tuttosport:

I think Giuseppe Rossi was a quality player before his two major injuries. If he can pick up where he left off, he'd be a great buy IMO. For the right price of course...8M would be a steal.

"If Juve can surprise in the Champions League? No, because it wouldn't be a surprise if they did good. They have great traditions"
"They call Conte the Italian Mourinho? It honours me. I like Antonio a lot. He is a winner, has charisma and knows what he wants"
"Juventus missing the top player in attack? Maybe they'll sign Llorente in January? I think they can get him for €15 mill"
- Mourinho

+1000 rep for Mourinho.

bilbao already lost 20 million chance, I doubt they will bother with 10... more likely we sign his contract for next season.
I agree that it is unlikely that anything will have changed with Athletic Club in January.

Lllorente probably won't have signed a new deal and the club probably won't be willing to sell.

If things are as they appear, Juve will agree a contract with Llorente pretty quickly in January to be sure of getting him in the summer, while also trying to agree a deal with Athletic Club for January.

That said, I'm still far from convinced that Llorente really has his heart set on Juve.

Coming to the end of summer, he wanted to leave and Juve were the only club really offering him a way out.

Come January/next summer, there may well be several other clubs interested in him, which - if nothing else - could force Juve to offer him more money than they did before or it could see a team offer Llorente crazy wages, because he is available on a Bosman and there won't be a transfer fee, and Llorente will consider it too good an offer to turn down, even if he would have preferred Juve from a strictly footballing point of view..
