Juve meeting Licht end of the week. This deal will be very hard to reject coz the player is doubling his wages and going to Paris in the process. Juve seem like they are willing to close this deal at 15m. Which is pretty fuck all. And e worst part is, I can see this deal go through with the money reinvested in the LB and Llorente/Dzeko. Not in JoJo.

I'd rather avoid 'flying cats' logic with football. If P$G can offer him big wages they can offer us a proper fee.
Its not PsG's initiative to provide a valuation of the player, its ours, espesh if he's somebody who was not for sale in this mercato. We are valuing him at 15m and ready to do business. PsG ismwell within their means to negotiate that asking price. Not their fault, we got a DS who can't play this game as wellnas we expect him to. And anyway, you don't believe any of this would happen, so whatever.

They are doubling his wages, tough situation ahead, i hope he doesn't wants to leave, if the opposite is true we should try to milk as much as possible from PSG, 18/20 mil and i think they'll have him.

It's amazing how you take media stories at face value. And no, that doesn't mean I think there is no way we will sell him.

It's not so much the story/media at face value. It's what his entourage/agent (with quotes) had to say recently. They sounded very very interested. You do not jeopardise your current situation by being so open about a move, unless its a distinct possibility. The numbers don't seem out of the realms of reality either. Think about it, the player doubling his wages, moving to a lovely city, he will be giving it serious thought, given that he has played in the ligue 1 before. Consider that we have Isla and Caceres and are priotizing the 352 in the season ahead, in which case Licht will not be a starter. I believe Juve will consider this seriously. And 15m, would suggest a healthy profit over what they paid for him, and I think this move unfortunately could happen. But you can choose to think otherwise.

€15m is fuck all profit, truth be told. Also, and I repeat again, I did not say the move will not happen. I asked why you are so sure, based on the same murmurings we hear when Juve are chasing a player. Marotta, agents, all the same.

Interesting ultra-pro argument you put forward, anyway.

You and I would like to think a 5m gain is nothing, but look at Beppe's penny pinching track record. He would be over the moon about making 15m on somebody who will not figure on the first team in the 352, rightly or wrongly.

I love Licht for all his qualities as a player and what he brings to the table, and I don't think he should be sold at any cost, let alone even 20m. Coz some qualities go beyond being valued for a bit of money. But that said I really seem to think this will go through. And that's really sad.

Again, you need to stop and think that its not only about our willingness to sell, if approached maybe Licht wants to leave. Doubling his salary is not a small thing.
