Today's Gazzetta dello Sport reports that Marotta has made an official offer for Cavani (20m+Gio+Matri) which Laurentis rejected. Apparently Cavani is open to a move, but the old prick is offering him a new contract with 3.5m per year.
Today Pescara meet PSG regarding Verratti.

Marrota been going around spreading the net wide for strikers. So rumors are to correct, we made a 10million bid of RVP got rejected, made a 30 million bid on Torres and got rejected and now a 55 million bid for Cavani and got rejected as well.
Anyone missing from the list?

Messi - 'sogno possibile', but Matri's onto it.

I don't mind the signing of Lucio - good experienced back up.

Lucio, Asamoah, Isla and Pogba are good players to add to this squad.

Just bear in mind though, Juve have already spent just over EU40m in this mercato already (Caceres 7m, Giacch 4m, Giovinco 11m, Asamoah 9m, Isla 9.4m, Lucio and Pogba 0m) and have received proceeds of around 4.5m. So net is around 36m.

Juve should be able to receive an additional 35-40m in proceeds from selling Elia, Krasic, Melo, Pazienza & Padoin, Motta and Zeigler.

Juve are short 1 big name striker. Giovinco, Vucinic, Quags and Matri still in the squad for now. And perhaps short a good left back / wing back.

A decent left wing back would cost anywhere between 10-15m and a quality striker should cost 30-35m. So thats 40-50m to be spent.

My idea from now is to sell one of either Matri or Quags for around 10-12m - and use that money to buy a left back. We would still be around net outlay of zero. Then get that big name striker for 30-35m which would be our net spend for the summer. We would also need another striker as we would only have 4 after having sold Matri or Quags. Perhaps get one on loan or bosman.

Regarding Cavani, gazzetta didn't say there was an official offer, it was just speculation.

And about Isla and Asamoah, the co-own of 9M and 9.4M will be paid in 3 years installments - so what was actually spent this year was 6.4M for both.

Also, Giovinco's fee - 11M - will be paid in 3 years installments

Giaccherini's 4.25M will be paid in 2 year installments

Leali - 3.8M in 3 yrs installments

Caceres - 7M outright.

Source: http://www.reuters.com/finance/stocks/JUVE.MI/key-developments

So technically Juve has spend, this year, 6.4 + 3.7 + 2.1 + 1.3 + 7 + 0 + 0 = 20.5M for players - Isla, Asamoah, Giovinco, Giaccherini, Leali, Caceres.

If you take into account other financial commitments who will come into effect the 2012-13 season, as:

Padoin: 5M in 3 years - so, 1.6M per year
Elia: 9M in 3 installments - the last installment is of 2.5M in january 2013
Vucinic - 15M in 3 years - so 5M this season
Vidal: 10.5M in 3 installments - 5.5M due this year
Litch - 10M in 3 years - so 3.3M this year
Matri - 15M in 3 years - 5M this season
Quagliarella - 10.5M in 3 years - 3.5M this season
Pepe - 7.5M in 3 years - 2.5M this season
Motta - 3.75M in 3 years - 1.25M this season
Krasic - 15M in 3 years - 5M this season

Damn, if u look at the full price of Matri - loan + installments - it's 2.5 + 15 = 17.5M. Quagliarella: 4.5 + 10.5 = 15M

All info in http://www.reuters.com/finance/stocks/JUVE.MI/key-developments?pn=5

So technically, Juve's financial commitments this season so far are 20.5M for the new players + 35,15M of transfers carried out in past seasons = 55,65M.

The website doesn't say how much Melo, Diego and Sissoko's fees Juve might still have installments to pay... so the total could be bigger.

Shit!!! It's a lot of cash.

Most transfers are done in instalments, we are more than likely still paying for several players so your logic is cacked.

According to sources heard exclusively by Calciomercato.com and very close to Manchester City, the future of Carlos Tevez could be away from England and Juventus colors.

At present there is no real negotiation between Carlitos and Juventus, but in the past the two sides have spoken and if Marotta fails to get to Van Persie, Higuain or Cavani, that's the name of Tevez would return to fashion in Turin.

In recent days, Roberto Mancini has hinted that the future of Tevez is not so obvious. "Carlos is, unless you ask for the sale." In other words, if Apache is returning to the tantrums, the hit on his departure would once again topical. And who is looking for a striker more than all? Just Juventus.

That's why more and more the days go by the assumption Tevez buy credit. If Manchester City were to buy another bit, then the game would be less complicated than you might think.

You can't just count the installments you paid this year. You have to count the full amount. Remember you are also paying installments from prior years And will be paying into the future. It's interesting to see people try to account exact numbers with transfer dealings, but it's nearly impossible to get it dead on without seeing the Club's spreadsheet.
