Pozzo is buying an English team isn't he? Watford I think.

Damn, we should get involved in that shit, make some sort of agreement with Gigi and Carrarese.
Exactly , while we fight with parma to get giovinco's half for lower and give our half of ekdal for a ridicously low amount , pozzo already found another squad to grow his young players and what better place than england , after one season his players would cost tens of millions . We should follow his example and buy a team to send all our young players and primavera players

In translation we need a B-team ;)..Just like the La Liga and Bundesliga clubs have B-teams.
Yeah, that would be a great thing to have. But why not actually buy a club in C2 and send our youth players there, have them fight their way up. As long as we dont play in the same league there should be no problem.

Thats not such a bad idea at all.

Those arent very accurate figures..

Giroud is listed at 9.5 but he went for 15 to Arsenal..

Either ways I am very distraught about the fact that we dint even make enquiries about him :sergio:

15m euros sounds like a value for money buy for a quality player.

Those "market value" thingies on transfermarkt are a very loose guideline at best. It's basically users just suggesting market values and mods arbitrarily enforcing them. They may give an indication though. Either way, with a release clause rumoured between 12 and 16 and on the back of a top scoring season, 15 sounds about right,

And yeah, I'd have liked us to have had a sniff at him.

well that are market values and not transfer fees. it's not like every player leaves for his market value.

Yeah i know..But if our board really wanted a low cost option for the attack ,why dint we pursue him ?He is a quality striker looking to explode at a big club.

Now watch Marotta paying the same amount for someone like Mandzukic.. :shifty:

Giroud would have been good addition and very decent price also. would have been so useful don't understand why we didn't go for him.. when we suck at getting big names. and tbh am not big fan of signing big name it's not on our DNA we always make the big names.

Giroud's far from a big name. We should scout SA for strikers ala Chicharito. Good movement in the box, speed, and finishing. That's all.
