I thought Esti's buy out clause was 500 000 euro? Have they changed it?
Giroud has had a wonderful season but I would wait and see. He might very well be a one season wonder. We might as well keep Immobile instead of buying Destro. Not saying he's better but he would be a cheaper solution. Also, I would like to keep Marrone, despite the fact that Asamoah would be a really nice catch. I would rather offer someone else. I don't want to be picky... buuuut, that's my first feeling by looking at your list. By the way, isn't Martinez contract running out this summer? By the way I'm not trying to be "that guy", just putting out the first thoughts that popped up

I don't think a 3-5-2 would be a radical change. We're already stockpiling CM's like they're gonna go out of style. If we recall Sorensen, we'll have enough defenders too. Plus, the mercato hasn't even started. I'm sort of predicting we'll get plenty of new players.

we're stockpiling CMs because MVP is the core strength of the team.

for a 3-5-2 we would need proper. attacking wingbacks and a goalscoring SS.

I think we currently own some decent wingbacks. But of course we could make use of extra additions.

While some good goalscoring second strikers are being linked with us. Whether we could get them is another story.

I agree Pepe's injury was one of the crucial factors for the change in formations. Although tactical flexibility was from the start of the season a key feature of this team.

That formation demands a lot of running. It wasn`t that easy for us against this teams, even tough we had only 1 game per week. There was time for us to rest and prepare in the best possible way. 3-5-2 didn`t work out against Napoli in the Cup Final. In the first game against them half of our players were tired as hell. Remember Lichsteiner? Matri? Vidal?

Against Milan in the Coppa (San Siro) we weren`t that brilliant either. Thanks God it was Caceres day. And again against them in Serie A when we were unable to connect 3-4 passes and take the ball to the Milan side of the pitch. If it wasn`t the ref we were definetly going to witness our 1st loss.

Playing against Barca or Real with this formation and we will be killed even before the kick off.

Sky: Borriello will not be redeemed, as Roma are not willing to bring the price down too much. RvP and Suarez are frontrunners for the Juve star signing. :tuttosport:
