Big meeting today apparently, Agnelli Marotta Paratici and Conte.

Juve interested in Moussa Sissoko, out of contract in the summer but may make an offer to Toulouse for January.
He's a very Vidal-esqe player. Huge stamina, good standing tackle and sliding. A ok passer. That's all i know about him.

Quag is slightly above average :agree:

Villa (for Serie A) + Drogba (CL) in January; forget about Llorente :tuttosport: :tuttosport: :tuttosport:

Big name striker in the summer of 2014. Two of Otin, Bonatini, and Boayke to be very very good players in the near future :D
We are 7 points ahead in serie a without breaking a sweat, paying a gigantic shitload wage for a serie a only player, is economically bad. and yes thats important if you want to become self sustainable. yeah i'd be for villa if he could play CL. but not serie a only. and fucks sake, he didnt prove what level he can play post injury and is 31.

Drogba ? another high wage player that is pretty old ?

No to Llorente, a significantly younger player that suits our team ?

Not to mention we wont be buying young forwards anytime soon due to gigantic wage for drogba+villa
no thanks

Drogba, or nobody.

Villa ? if he can prove himself second half of the season in spain, he might we worth it in the summer, when barca will still try to sell

Ideally we should sign Drogba on loan and Villa permanently but ofcoarse that is highly unlikely.

If we signed Villa permanently, he would make Serie A much easier for us and would Keep Vucinic fresh for the CL. For me that is better than temporarily having Drogba and then going back to a starless attack in both Serie A & CL.

Villa & a CB now. Lorente/Huntelaar & Moussa in the summer.
That would make our strike force for next season : Villa, Hunter/Lorente, Gio, Vucinic, Quag.

In 2010/11 he was considered the best young defensive midfielder in Europe and earned several France call ups... deservedly so as he had an impressive season with his club Rennes. He was strongly linked with Real Madrid, Barcelona, Arsenal, Manchester United and Manchester City but didn't move as he wanted to help Rennes one last season and Rennes wasn't ready to sell. They were offered 20m+ money but refused.

In 2011/12 his performances dropped drastically and his attitude inside and outside the pitch was shocking. Even with constant scandals and poor form with Rennes, M'Vila earned somehow a place in France's Euro 2012 team. As everyone saw he had a horrible show there, not only had some shocking performances but he also refused to shake hands with his replacement – also ignored France boss Laurent Blanc, and created problems in the dressing room alongside Samir Nasri and Menez (was it Menez? Can't remember clearly).

When Deschamp took over he said that M'Vila, Nasri etc. will have it hard to come back to the team, basically he was dropped from France's team with the likes of Capoue taking over.

So after failing to get a place back in France's team, he was called up for France's U21 team. But M'Vila decided to make shit happen again. M'Vila and Mavinga, along with Antoine Griezmann, Mbaye Niang and Wissam Ben Yedder, went nightclubbing in Paris before the second leg of France's Under-21 2013 European Championship qualifier against Norway and had a horrible match losing 5-3.

The pair have since been condemned to training with Rennes' reserves, while they have not been named in today's squad for the Ligue 1 trip to Saint-Etienne.

Rennes manager Antonetti explained himself: "We can talk about betrayal," Antonetti said. "I talked so much with them, but it was useless. I'm the first to suffer in this situation.

"I don't know yet when they will return, but it couldn't be until May 31. I won't have confidence in them as men anymore and I can't make the difference between the man and the player. That's why I'm affected - more than I show.

"I made this decision to make them understand, but I don't know if they do. I have doubts about that. I made this decision for the club too, they have to be professional. They'll come back one day."

I can bet that Rennes regret not accepting atleast one of the offers they got in the past two years.
An article i read on M'Vila a month ago..

One more piece.

Another aspect is that he is now cheap - unwanted and out of favor, M’Vila could be bought for as low as £5 million which is quite a bargain given he could be a great success and even if that’s not the case, a lot of money wouldn’t be spent on him, hence, not an excessive loss.

In addition, with his ban on the international stage, M’Vila won’t be called up to the France side until July 2014, meaning that during the international games, instead of playing and risking injury/fatigue, he’ll be getting rest which would allow his parent club to maintain his fitness better.

There is the case however, of M’Vila’s personality, attitude and mental state – is it worth taking a risk on? It is said that one of the transfer market secrets is to buy a player with personal problems at a cut-price deal & help them deal with it – Arsenal did this with Robin van Persie, AC Milan did this with Zlatan Ibrahimovic while Newcastle did this with Hatem Ben Arfa, with the results all positive.

Marchisio out. Moussa or M'Vila?

Please discuss.
Why? If someone is knocking on the door with 30+M offer for Marchisio - ok, it sounds close to reasonable - but I doubt that is the case. Besides he is a homegrown player who adores the jersey.
M'Villa isn't playing in the same position anyway. Sissoko seems closer to Marchisio as a player and if we can make 25+ mils in such a rotation deal - I could see it happening. The other reason I see such a rotation occurring is if Conte sees Pogba as a better player than Marchisio...?

I would love to have villa here but the fact that he is cup tied just kills the move. Drogba now. Matri & bendtner gone in the summer. New striker in the summer aswell.

La Republica: Juve wants Guerrero from Corinthians. Front cover of Tuttosport right now.

He'll be 29 in 2 weeks. Corinthians paid around 3M euros to get him. He's their hero right now because of the winning goal against Chelsea, they definitely don't wanna sell him and he just arrived (in June or July). He will leave only if he pushes for it. And probably for 5-7M euros at least.

I haven't been following him in Corinthians, but he played very well against Chelsea. I was very well impressed. He's tall, strong, fairly quick for a poacher, decent technique, can hold the ball, takes part in play development, good movement off the ball, good finishing.

But it was just one game, so... but apparently he's better than Matri, at least.

I don't like his attitude.

Plus, if he's cheap at the moment, part of it is also performance related as he has been poor.

We could always take a gamble because he still could come out huge, but we're already stack in midfield; no need to as there are other areas to look for in my opinion.

You should imply more specifically. :D

Quag is average and has his moments of sheer horrendous performance. Every dog has his day.
Quag looks like the only striker that can play badly and still score goals, that is worth something.

I prefer Villa as a player over Drogba and I think long term he'd offer a lot more, wouldn't want to miss any opportunity to sign him at all. Summer could be too late.

We would be foolish to not sign Villa if we get the chance, still world class finisher, only 31 and Deffo better goalscorer then Drogba and younger.

Yeah he is cup tied, but we aren't after a striker for this CL campaign alone, but in general.
