David Villa..

1) cuptied
2) just turned 31
3) unclear how he'll perform post injury

if this was a 6 month loan, and he wasnt cuptied, i'd do it in a heartbeat.

If its a 6months loan with a very low option to buy, i'd to it to

However, this player has pretty high wages, and its a huge gamble considering he didnt played much his injury

Villa couldn't play in CL league..why everyone here fapping around him?ill say drogba over villa and take back one of our youngster to replace bendtner
Exactly. Why the hell we need Villa for 6 months only for Serie A??
We can do fine in the league with Vucinic-Gio-Guag this year for sure.

We much more need Drogba than Villa.
He's cuptied=no need in him this year.

Why are you guys bitching about Villa or Drogba being the better choice? we won't sign one of them.

Remember how the Jovetic or RVP discussion was in the summer? It resulted in Bendtner :sergio:

Because if we get him this year it'd be with the intention of having him stay permanently later on. You'd pass up on a player like David Villa just for 6 months? Think about it, he transfers, gets used to Serie A, gets used to the tactics in the meantime.

It's not perfect since he's cup tied but really, nothing really is. At least he'd be around for more than 18 months, unlike Drogba.

i'd actually be interested to know how the Drogba haters would react to Villa.

too old? doesn't suit the league? lacks flair? is the spanish george weah? can't speak the language? fitness issues? etc...
george weah won ballon d'or -in fact, the only non european non south american player that ever won it, IIRC- so what's wrong with that? :disagree:

even if villa is cup tied, the problem is still our strikers can't score. and that includes serie a.

i have lost count of matches that we made harder than necessary because the strikers couldn't finish the 300 chances they were given.
