By who?
He doesn't even come close to Stam's qualities nor his style of play.
yeah i can believe that, since i've had the ESPN package i've watched a lot more dutch football but i can honestly say there is actually no such thing as a dutch defender that can defend as well or even come close to Jaap Stam's standards, whether they have potential is another thing, but we've seen it all too often this players out of the eredivisie that they can flop really badly.

I was lead to believe that buoy was going to be huge, but so far he doesn't seem to be impressing to Juve's standards if he wasn't even a starter at the primavera, to then be loaned out to brescia it seems like he will go down as another of those Dutch players with 'huge talent' as Janna put it but ultimately end up getting nowhere.

i wasn't talking about de vrij, i was talking in general.
I know and for your info
stam at 19 played in dutch second league :shifty: or maybe in the bottom of the eredivisie. It is hard to discover talents in holland
did you saw Depay of PSV?

bouy never even played for Ajax first team. We will see who become good and who becomes bad.

good for stam, im sure you've heard stories of Giaccherini and Torricelli as well.

I heard a story about how Diamanti only became a footballer through a friend who worked at a nightclub then invited for trials and then the rest they say is history.

hey Pedro
defensivly Douglas is the best cb in Holland
his problem is that he is a bit retard as melo.
i would let him go he is not better then what we have already.

gazetta reports that juve is interested in Daryl Janmaat and Bruno Martins indi who both played for Holland last games

Daryl Janmaat was very bad and is not good enough for juve and already 24.

Bruno Martins Indi scored vs Hungary with a header. hè is strong, fast and technical pretty skilled but he is defensivly a bit clueless still. but he is 19 and starter for Holland and Feyenoord (were he plays leftback sometimes)

if i would sign one young defender out of Holland i would sign Stefan de Vrij (captain of Feyenoord) and have develop himself a lot since his debut at 17 year. hè started as rightback and now is a center back and hè is strong, smart and is a natural born leader.
hè didn't play for Holland cos hé was injured but he made his debut also hé is now 19.
Nice!

Here in Brazil players worthy of being scouted:

right now the best player of the championship is Bernard, 20, of Atletico Mineiro. He'll be in the next NT squad. Very good. Diminutive, offensive LW. Quick, smart, can shoot with both feet, agressive, has dribbling. Very very good.

Other very young and promising players: Doria (17yr old, cb, Botafogo), Jadson (box-to-box dm, 19yr old, quick and techinical), Fernando (19 yr old all around midfielder from Gremio), Ademilson (18 yr old striker from Sao Paulo), Marcos Jr (19 yr old offensive winger/striker, similar to Inisgne), Higor (19yr old AMF from Fluminense - similar style to Juninho Pernambucano - this kid will be HUGE), Adryan and Mattheus of Flamengo (18yr AMF), Marcos Rocha (23 yr old, RWB/rb, the best full back of the championship by a mile), Rever (Atletico Mineiro, CB, 25), Toloi (20yr commanding CB from Sao Paulo), Rhodolfo (24 yr CB from Sao Paulo), Victor Andrade (16 yr striker from Santos). And Wallace from Fluminense. And these kids have no hype on them. Just yet.
