Honda was superb. Best player in the pitch by a mile. Kagawa was really good as well.

Good result for us Aussies :). That is the best Japan team we've ever come up against and we stood toe to toe with them the whole game.

man, you are one annoying poster.

Is the dude in your avatar Mr. White from Resevoir Dogs?
because I dont believe in tearing down a winning team and selling a key player.

because he is a good player, and has the potential to be WC.

for the record I would not sell ANY Juve player for any crazy price unless he wanted to leave.

we are not a selling club, and any player who joins Juve must come with the understanding that he is at his highest possible level, not one rung below it.
Thats not true and it never was, not in our glory days either. We did sell Zidane, the worlds best player at the time, because he wanted to go to Real. Real and Barca have always been more prestigious than us and they always will.

Isla and Destro are far from mediocre. One is an accomplished quality player for his NT, and the other a very promising youngster. Borriello is a dirtbag and utterly useless; that I can agree with :agree:
point is that they are closer to mediocre than top class and were suppossed to make that leap to quality this year not add more of the same (average quality squad players)

No they are both closer to top class. Destro is closer to mediocre atm but he is only 21 and has big potential.

Isla is not mediocre. Destro might not be an upgrade to Matri or Quagliarella but the fact that he is 21 and about to prove the world he can be world class is enough to make me think he should get the chance. When is the last time a 21 year old scored 12 goals in Serie A? One could say im off the hook, but 12 goals in Serie A is like 17 in La Liga - now that's another perspective, right

Leo Bonatini. Paratici likes him. Man City like him. Marotta likes his Italian passport.
I like what I see. i must admit I have never heard of him before but if we've scouted this guy and he is only 18 years old.. Such deals always make me optimistic - Pato 2.0?
