He's not good enough to carry the attack. Has been very inconsistent and wasteful, and I don't consider him a game changer. If his sale could mean pumping some of that money into game changing guys like Jovetic and Suarez, then why not? Offers very little in terms of end product and if Conte is seriously looking at the 352 as a viable alternative to the 433, then he's got little or no novelty value left. That said, it unlikely it'll happen. In fact, I'd be ok if we held on to our entire forward line and replace Borriello with Dzeko, Jovetic or Suarez. That is a possibility.
Vucinic has never carried the attack alone even in roma . The one that did that was totti most of the time , but with totti vucinic has played very good and roma has even refused 20 mil for him around that time . He is not a game changer if you want a game changer put it on the right at pepe's place and put as a striker someone with decent tecnique that can do a simple exchange and you will see that mirko's game will improve a lot . No wonder he plays best when del piero has been a striker they speak the same language , differently from the likes of matri borrielo who can't even make a decent stop of the ball.
I think the question was for what price you'd be ready to let our players go not if anyone would pay that. I'd sell Matri for 17.5 (that's what we paid?) for example, would be dumb to get rid of him with losses, he's a good player. I would sell Vucinic for anything over 10 millions, if we would get a star striker he'd only get in his way with his off target shots and turnovers.
Depends on who do we buy instead and who's the guy on the bench. Matri is a good rotation player IMO, there's no need to sell him at this point. Not just rotation, but at this point when we're playing 4-3-3 he should be starting.

A top striker who's gonna bang in goals is a MUST next season and we'll be damn good. Signing Jovetic would be amazing, but we cannot really afford to sign him and place Mirko on the bench. Players like Benzema, Higuain or Cavani are the ones we should go after. And we kinda need a RW too, bar Pepe we don't have a strong player to rely on there.
Well there's no need to sell Marchisio either, but I think I'd sell him if 35m offer came in (even if I don't think anyone would pay over 20m for Claudio), as you see true value and value you'd sell for differ. In Matri's case I think the true value would be somewhere around 12m and I'd sell him for the sum we paid (17.5 iirc). So we kinda agree.
In ana ideal world we would replace Vucinic, he's no game changer, any player would look excpetionnal for a strech of 2/3 games, it's consistency that matter. We don't need him to have a milan like performance every game but just a solid one, the problem with Mirko is that if he's not playing exceptionally well, he's sucking, there's no middle ground, and you only get those exceptionnal performances 5/6 times a year and that's not good enough.
Vucinic is not a game changer, he never has been in his career, being a game changer means being so somewhat consistent at it, not odd games of that or a hot streak. He is a complimentary player to use next to quality star player(s), not be that himself, you just gonna be hella underwhelmed if you expect that. Or for him to suddenly become something he hasnt been when he is 29. His productivity is extremely low for someone who is supposed to be the go-to-guy for a teams attack.
