Well. Liverpool Torres > Rossi, and almost every other striker in the world.

Current Torres = Amauri.
agree
but i have a lot of confidence that he just needs to change squad to come back in form , it is a psycological effect
he has immense skill and it is immposible for it to have disappeared

torres would go for around 25 or lower and posibly we could even insert players (althrough a very small chance)
torres is a proven goalscorer who has had some issues the last year
if torres reaches form , he is one of the 5 best strikers in the world
for 35 mil the only one i can think of is higuain and torres in his best is better
the next is rossi who should come for much cheaper , but than again torres >>> rossi (althrough i wouldn't mind rossi at all)
other players i think of are dzeko (who is highly improbable seeing as he is a city player and is doing pretty well) and suarez who has had issues with liverpool
in both cases torres in form >>>> dzeko , suarez
He has been a shadow of himself for a couple of seasons
He started to be a shadow of himself even before he left Liverpool
He has been poor for Spain too

Paying 25M for a striker who most likely not to deliver isnt a smart piece of business
Anyway I rather see the money spent to replace Bonucci and get someone great instead of Vucinic/Pepe (2 players would even be better...)

saying for a couple of season is a lot
when he started at chelsea he was coming back from a bad injury and know that he is in shape everything is against him
he has been poor for spain very true , but as i said it is a bad mental state he has

Gerd again,it will be much of a risk to put money and HOPE Torres can rediscover his form back.
We simply can't!
We must someone who is good now and producing on the highests levels...

I agree, Demba Ba sounds like the best option.

I'm going to make Demba Ba the new Ansaldi in this topic

so you don't want to invest in a WC player that has had a bad year and put all your money on someone who has had one good year in their whole career until now

Demba Ba comes at a reasonable transfer fee and probably earns less.

I know that Conte has given the green light for Demba Ba next summer.

Buffon
Lichtsteiner - Barzagli - Vidic - Chiellini
Vidal - Pirlo - Marchisio
Jovetic - Vucinic
Demba Ba

Maybe too much Balkanese but still thats a sexy team.

A. Before he signs a new contract, he's got a buyout clause near 7m pounds
B. I dont think his salary could be that high since he plays for fucking Newcastle
C. Just like Badass knew Conte had given the green light for Ansaldi

the part in bold is very interesting , it could be a very good deal
the problem is if we want him , we have to start dealing with him starting now , because if the buyout clause is that low that means that all will come to the will of the player and the wage you give him .
i expect him to get a high wage since the buyout clause is low , but still it could be a good deal if the likes of city , chelsea , real who can give him high wages don't enter the deal
and for C i don't understand ?
