It'd be great to get one versatile midielder who could be rotated either with Vidal or Marchisio, depending on their form. Well, if we want to mean something in next year's Champions League, we have to improve our midfield.

Also Demba Ba would be good to put some pressure on Matri and having them would be good enough for CF, but only as long as we buy world class second striker / winger for right side and get back Giovinco or someone else to rotate with Vucinic.

Vucinic/(Giovinco/x) - Matri/Ba - WorldClassGuy/Pepe + Giaccherini who can play on both wings and as a midfielder - it seems good enough for next season.

3-5-2 is indeed bad for our midfielders, yet i am not convinced marchisio is a viable 1st team starter for long term.

barzagli+some other defenders

vidal-pirlo-asamoah

jovetic-matri-vucinic
To be honest, at this point, I rather see Jovetic take the left flank and Pepe the right. Pepe has been offering the team more than Vucinic has as well.

no, that was chiellini i was talking about.

i don't want to sell marchisio. i think he would a good player. i just want someone who shows up in more matches. i don't think i'm being unreasonable here....

pepe and giovinco on bench to give us options.

jovetic ideally would replace vucinic as a starter, but i don't see us buying 2 classy wide players.

I would really like to see a quality midfielder, like Sahin, to arrive at Juventus. It'll make Vidal, Pirlo, Marchisio and Sahin all fight for 3 starting positions. Only good things could come out of that.

pirlo ?
i don't think so
the only one i see at risk there is marchisio
he would be the sub of pirlo when he is tired and could play it with marchisio
he is not as dynamic as vidal and cannot help in the way he does , so tecnically i would say that he is safe too

I think Sahin is more than capable to play any of those three midfield positions. Especially Pirlo's and Marchisio's.

bah i don't think he is dynamic enough to take vidals spot
he can play fairly well in pirlos spot , but pirlo is the best in the world in that position so it ain't happening , the only one i really see at risk is marchisio

His alternative is Milan, I suppose. There he has to compete against the world-class Nocerino and Aquilani, as well as the fossilized remains of Seedorf and Van Bommel. Not to mention that slimeball Boateng.

He would definitely get more minutes at Juventus.
