He isn't way better. He has shown that on top of his game he is better atm. Both Gaitan and Hulk are going to show what they are made of in the next 5 years. Robben will be done and dusted in 4. At least people noted he is constantly injured or getting into shape. There goes the second big no-no :"Robben being signed as key player would be a dream, not a bad choice ... " :sergio: Great, lets get a key player that will play maximum say 30% of the season. Out of that he will be in his top form say 20%(too generous, perhaps?) or 10% of the time... 1 out of 5-10 games and a key player salary wise? Epic fail! Now should we buy Muller as a backup(de facto our starter) as well? Or get Gaitan to be that backup?
That is why its actually better to get Gaitan and be done with it.
Hulk can cross, beats his man one on one and is creative in the wide areas. While not out and out winger, he is great in a 3 man attack and can play on both flanks. He was so much better than what we have.

about the 4:
1.Messi;2.C.Ronaldo;3.Sanchez;4.Iniesta;5.Ribery;6.Silva... Neymar?...
We will soon see how Ashley Young will go forward, but his first half of the season he is a mirror image of Robben. Certainly without the full skill set of Robben at his best, but he is playing quite the same game perfectly, just instead of a left-footed winger on the right he is a right-footed winger on the left.
for the list
messi first
robben if uninjured second
ronaldo
ribbery
don't know who to put in 5th place

since when sanchez became better than ribbery ?
since when did iniesta become a wing ?
since when did neymar become the 6th best wing in the world ?
we still have to see him play in europe

:agree: personally i have nodoubt in my mind that an Un-injured Robben is a better player than C.Ronaldo.

I'd say he's second to Messi when not injured and in top form.
agree

C.Ronaldo being less of a player than Robben? :claire:  You should know I am not a fan of C.Ronaldo, but he is the only player that could level Messi these days. He is actually more complete as a player, but Messi's close control is out of this earth.
Sanchez is a starter in Barcelona. Iniesta while not extremely fast, can own the wings from deep like very few players do. He is a wide AM or whatever you wanna call him, but he is great there. Neymar is also there on the top of the wide forwards list and I was implying that we don't need a real 4-4-2 winger, but more of a 4-3-3 wide forward. And Neymar is being courted by both Barcelona and Real M (and anyone else that feels they could land him), he might not be tested in Europe but that doesn't say he isn't the better choice for the next 5 years.

Until Ibra slaps him and he'll be injured for 3 months.
Imagine Robben tackling Nocerino, then taking the ball past MvB... while holding off Gattuso! He is taken down eventually, but the referee doesn't signal for a foul. Robben is pissed(which is quite like him) and starts a fight with Ibra(quite likely to start a fight as well, although he prefers germans with tiny necks)...
Two questions: After such a game would he ever be able to walk? Can he help us from a wheelchair? :D

for the first part in bold i agree
ronaldo is a more complete player than messi , because he has better physique and a better shot outside the box , but from sheer talent messi is way better than him and so is robben , much more talented
for the second part in bold
and so what that sanchez is a starter in barcelona ?
that doesn't make him one of the best wings , and he is not one of the top 5 wings
and i repeat iniesta is not a wing

as for neymar being the 6th and being wanted by barca and real
who fucking cares that he is being looked by barca and real ?
a lot of young players are being looked by barca and real , but that doesn't mean they are top 5 instantly
he is young and still needs to be tested in europe , when he goes to one of those 2 teams and performs good , than maybe he will turn out to be one
do you know how much young players barca and real get and turn out not to be as good as they thought they were , and were overpriced
the last was coentrao ok he is good , but 30 milion ?
i remember in 2009 the chigrynsky guy or however he was called , got for 25 milion just to be sent back one year later for 15 at his old team
robinho had a big hype in brazil , but did he turn out to be one of the best in world ?
no he didn't
