giovinco is a good player when counterattacking, or when playing with a very strong midfield, like the azurri has with marchisio-de rossi-montolivo, in a 2 striker systhem


we need vucinic, a replacement for pepe that is adept at pressing, and maybe a more profilic goalscorer for matri, altho i think with the right players around him, he'd be doing exponentionally better

Yea I like this set-up a lot! A few tweaks away from making an epic comeback in Europe. I'd also like to see more of our youth players being integrated...A decent amount of them are being praised a lot (Immobile, Appelt, The black kid forgot his name, Giandonatto, Magnusson etc) since we (hopefully) will be in 3 tournaments I hope Copa would be used specifically for youth players and integrating them into our system.


Oh and Trezeguet is a game changer!! Take the Juve of old and replace Trez with Amauri and we'll probably get half the goals we had with Trezegol.

That is stupid, the only difference is Giovinco. Vucinic will still be there while the difference between Matri and Rossi wouldn't be that big. And Giovinco is a good player, in both attacking and counter attacking. Stop making shit up. Back in the day people used to say that Giovinco is not good enough against teams that pressure us, now he's an expert against teams that pressure? Please.
